Noma Collective: Barcelona, Spain 💃🇪🇸

I found Noma Collective through an IG ad last year (I guess you could say Noma found me) and I had been wanting to travel but was worried about doing it on my own. I took the leap and registered for their first Lisbon edition in March 2024 and I’m SO happy I did. Approaching the end of 2024 and I’ve now been on the Barcelona edition and am headed to Pipa next month. The internal team consists of INCREDIBLY kind humans that have a love of travel, community, wellness and social impact which are four values of mine. Lisbon was my starting point of becoming a full time digital nomad and without them, I’m not sure I would’ve had the confidence to venture on my own but here we are eights months later still abroad. They make the experience seamless and proactively curate the trip to ensure you see all the hidden gems in each location. They are also very accommodating to adjust to each persons travel style and inclusive creating a comfortable atmosphere. Noma trips are some of the most fun experiences I’ve had in my life and you’re surrounded by a super encouraging community that knows how to work hard and play harder. I’ve made lots of connections and good friends that I’ve now traveled with outside of Noma and that wasn’t something I was expecting—very grateful that Noma creates a space for people to truly explore and do what they love. Leo was an absolutely fabulous community manager for the barcelona edition. she was so organized and helpful, even sending recommendations before we arrived. i would sign up for another edition with leo in a heartbeat!

Pipa was the best experience with noma and something that made the experience even better was community manager, melissa! so knowledgable on the area, super fun, kind and accommodating! she felt like a friend right when i met her and she enhanced the trip from beginning to end! ❤️

I just got back from my third noma trip in barcelona! they've all been amazing but barcelona was a really great city. our community manager leo was phenomenal at planning fun things for us to do the entire time!

My barcelona trip with noma was unforgettable, thanks to the amazing host, leo! her detailed knowledge of the city and warm, friendly attitude made us feel like locals right away. the trip was perfectly paced, with a great balance of activities that gave us plenty of opportunities to bond and explore with fellow travelers. it was a fantastic experience all around! i highly recommend!

Noma was my first digital nomad group travel experience and I’m so glad I went with them. I joined the expedition to Belize and had an amazing time, the trip is perfectly curated for a nomad: organized but flexible. We had an amazing community manager: Sarah who lives and know Placencia like the back of her hand. It was nice having her support on the trip whenever anything went wrong.

Antigua Guatemala Oct. 2024
Had such a great time the first time around I had to come back for more! I had such an incredible time in Antigua. The location is absolutely perfect for digital nomads, I have 0 complaints! We went to lake Atitlan, hike a volcano and enjoyed manyyyy coffee shops. Huge shout out to our community manager Leo! Besides her immaculate organizational and management skills, her energy is electric! She truly cared for all of us and made sure we had a good time. You’re in luck if you have Leo as a community manager, P.S. a birdie told me she also hosts the Barcelona crew!

Four noma trips and all of them were absolutely incredible!

(late fall 2024) pipa, brazil was such a fun edition. i was on the pilot edition over thanksgiving, and absolutely loved it. melissa was a great community manager - so fun, kind, and supportive! the location was incredible - near enough to town for easy grocery runs and so much to do at night and during the day. we were also just a walk away from two gorgeous beaches. our accommodation was unreal. so beautiful with great wifi and places to work.

(early fall 2024) the barcelona edition was also incredible. the community manger, leo did a wonderful job of showing us barcelona and helping us discover the less touristic parts that make the city great. definitely go in september for the la mercè festival!

(spring 2024) the lisbon edition was really great. i loved the city so much and it was really fun to live in an apartment with several other nomads. the sense of community was really strong!

(late fall 2023) i just returned from my first trip with noma and my first group travel trip in general. i had an absolutely amazing time on the belize edition. from swimming wtih sharks and sea turtles, hiking in the jungle to a waterfall, island hoping, and cave exploring to delicious dinners and countless coladas in placencia, every event and excursion was well-planned and offered memories i'll cherish for a very long time. sarah, our community manager, was awesome! she helped us navigate getting around placencia, gave suggestions to make our stay as comfortable as possible, and was a great person to talk to and go on adventures with! everyone i met on the trip was so cool and quickly turned into a friend. i highly recommend going to belize, noma's first location. it was incredible. within the first week of being there, i booked a second trip with noma for later this spring. i can't wait! seriously, you won't regret booking a trip with noma. go for it and be ready for an incredible experience.

A noma trip is always great fun! leo was the best guide for barcelona. i felt like a local after day one! can’t wait to do it again in another city!
