Just got back from the Seoul edition, and it was SPECTACULAR. Compared to 10+ similar trips I did with Noma/Remote Year/Hacker Paradise, this one was my favorite! Jeong and Dogukan went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our time there, and importantly seemed to care :). Both Seoul natives, the facilitators provided expert recommendations of cafes and restaurants to try, and were able to answer any random question I had about mapping the streets, how to take public transportation, or translating Korean text. No awkward drama within the community, thank goodness, and all my eleven new friends were super lovely and a delight to explore with. Seoul itself was packed with things to do. It might be the best place on earth to get your beauty treatments, health checkups and dental work done all in one go, and in terms of quality and cost. Hongdae was vibrant literally all night if you enjoy dancing and being out and about alongside the 20-something set. All in all, this edition turned out as close to perfect as it could go!
