I went on the Costa Rica edition with Noma this October. It was truly an amazing experience. The people hosting were amazing and the activities were lots of fun.
I want to give a special shout-out to our community manager, Javi. I was a little nervous going to a place I've never been before, but having Javi there, I just knew I was taken care of all along the way. He was super welcoming and responsive to my asks, and also just a fun person! On the first day, I needed a sim card. Although I replied late, he still managed to get me a sim card and helped me set up. I also asked for a desk in the room, and he got one moved to my room the same day. His ceviche teaching class was one of my top highlights on this trip. He organized many fun activities for us and connected us with the local community. Javi truly made my Costa Rica experience with NOMA a warming one. Thank you Javi and NOMA!
