I just spent a month at Noma Collective in Oaxaca, Mexico for my first Noma experience and honestly, it was amazing. The place is beautiful and so comfy! Hotel-level beds and pillows, weekly cleaning, a fully equipped kitchen, and WiFi that never dropped once.
Roxy, the community manager, is an absolute legend. She’s super organized, kind, and somehow keeps everything running smoothly. She was there for everything, joined in on all the fun, and made the whole experience feel so welcoming. Honestly, she’s a huge part of why the community felt like home.
Speaking of community, it’s awesome. There’s a Slack group with channels for foodies, adventure, photography, basically anything you can think of, so it’s super easy to find someone to hang out with. During my stay, they ran a tax skillshare, pizza-making session, speakeasy night, games, and even moon circles, so much fun!
Everything is run really professionally and it’s totally worth it. If you can work remotely for a month, I can’t recommend this enough. Noma takes care of literally everything – you just show up, work, connect, and take it all in :)
