Description
Tadaima Shimoda
Friendships with locals are waiting to bloom.
What does “Tadaima” mean?
In Japan, “Tadaima” is what you say when you come home — “I’m back.”
It’s answered by “Okaeri,” meaning “Welcome back.”
TADAIMA SHIMODA is a place where these words come to life — where people from around the world can feel they truly belong.
Imagine a place where, every time you return, you’re warmly greeted with “Okaeri” (Welcome back).
In Shimoda, you’re not just a visitor—you become part of a living, breathing community. Here, “Tadaima” becomes more than a word. It’s a feeling, a connection, a new sense of belonging.
It’s where your heart feels truly seen—and where friendships transcend borders.
Join us anytime.
TADAIMA SHIMODA is open year-round, welcoming you whenever you’re ready to live, work, and connect in Japan.
Experience Shimoda as a place where “Tadaima” and “Okaeri” are more than just words — they’re a way of life.
