Friendship and Exploration

Remote Year Parea was made for those who thrive within a community full of dreamers, doers, and makers. With a taste for adventure and a support system with you for every milestone moment, you’ll head out into the world to search for your place within it. Over the course of a year, you’ll venture to the Mother City of Cape Town, make your home in some of Europe’s most-desired locations, dance to the beat of Latin America, and eat your way through Asia. You’ll learn from the locals and embrace your similarities and differences. You’ll discover that everyone has a purpose, and perhaps you’ll find yours along the way.

Welcome to Lisbon, a city rich in history, beauty, and good vibes. The sun shines 290 days a year and the temperature rarely drops below 15 degrees Celsius, making it pleasant any time of the year. Here you will find a vibrant contrast of tradition and innovation that creates a unique atmosphere ready to charm you at every turn.
