This month was my first time traveling…
Este mes fue la primera vez que viajé fuera del país por más de un fin de semana a un resort, y estuve muy agradecido por la guía amable que me brindaron no solo Amanda y JD, sino también la comunidad de apoyo que Amanda se ha esforzado en construir dentro de Moksha. Siempre sentí que tenía un lugar al que acudir con preguntas, y una red de seguridad de personas expertas que me respaldaban cuando no se me ocurría preguntar. Llegué por un mes a un grupo de personas en el que muchos estaban en su mes 11, y me recibieron bien aunque los círculos ya eran muy unidos. JD me transmitió un entusiasmo genuino que me ayudó a enamorarme de Perú, ¡y sus recomendaciones de restaurantes nunca decepcionaron! Mi experiencia con Remote Year, aunque breve para la mayoría, ha sido inolvidable y transformadora.
This month was my first time traveling outside of the country for longer than a weekend on a resort, and I was so greatful for the gentle guidance that was provided not just by Amanda and JD, but by the community of support that Amanda has worked to build into Moksha. I always felt like I had a place to go for questions, and a safety net of savy individuals to back me up when I didn't think to ask questions. I came in for one month to a group of people where many were on their 11th, and was welcomed in even though circles where already ready tight knit. JD provided a genuine enthusiasm that helped me fall in love with Peru, and recommendations for restaurants that never disappointed! My experience with remote year, even though brief by most comparisons, has been an unforgettable and transformitive experience!
