Las actividades introductorias de la primera semana fueron geniales. Me ayudaron mucho a orientarme y a hacerme una idea general de la ciudad antes de ponerme a explorar de verdad, y a conocer al máximo a los demás. Pecha Kucha y Unconference me ayudaron a identificar a las personas que creía que podían ayudarme en mi giro profesional; pude presentarme y conseguir el consejo y la ayuda que buscaba.

Nuestros guía y manager de la ciudad, Flo y Nat, se esforzaron mucho para que viviéramos nuestro mes o nuestros 4 meses de estancia con integridad (es decir, no tienes que participar en todos los eventos, pero sí participar y aprender por el camino).

Aprecio mucho el tiempo dedicado a conocer a gente local de verdad siempre que fue posible y a apoyar su trabajo.

1st week’s introductory activities were great. It really helped me to orient/ generalize the city scape before really trying to explore and to maximize getting to know others. Pecha Kucha & Unconference helped me identify the individuals that I thought could help me on my career pivot journey; I was able to introduce myself and get the advice and help that I was seeking.

Our city guide and city manager Flo & Nat worked really hard to ensure that we were treating our month or 4 month stay with integrity (I.e you dont have to engage in every event but do participate and learn along the way).

I do appreciate the important time spent meeting real local people when we can and supporting their work.
