Como mi primer programa de RY, no tenía muchas expectativas sobre cómo sería mi mes en Perú. Pero ni en mis sueños más locos habría predicho la magia que fue mi experiencia en Perú.

Ari + Fran fueron líderes increíbles para nuestro grupo y organizaron el mes más completo, emocionante y significativo para nosotros. Ari era increíble para transmitir energía positiva, organizar eventos a medida de los intereses que expresamos y fomentar relaciones sólidas dentro del grupo que nos permitieron crear un vínculo fuerte. Fran fue muy atento al elegir experiencias en la ciudad (y en nuestras excursiones de fin de semana) que aprovecharan al máximo la gran variedad de actividades que ofrece Perú. Las historias que Fran compartió nos dieron una perspectiva única del país que hizo inolvidable cada lugar que visitamos.

Durante el mes viajamos por todos los climas y paisajes que puedas imaginar. Entre la belleza natural de la selva amazónica, los impresionantes atardeceres del desierto y las vistas enormes de las montañas de los Andes -- cada fin de semana tenía algo completamente nuevo que ofrecer. También hubo muchas oportunidades de despertar al adicto a la adrenalina que llevas dentro en cada escapada de fin de semana, ¡una sorpresa que me emocionó especialmente!

Para resumir, si anhelas aventura y variedad, buena comida y buena gente, ¡Perú es el lugar para ti!

As my first RY program, I didn't have many expectations about what my month in Peru would look like. But even in my wildest dreams, I would have never predicted the magic that was my experience in Peru!

Ari + Fran were incredible leaders for our group and curated the most well rounded, exciting, and meaningful month for us. Ari was amazing at spreading positive energy, organizing events that were tailored to the interests we expressed, and fostering strong relationships within the group that allowed us to build a strong bond. Fran was extremely thoughtful in selecting experiences in the city (and in our weekend excursions) that maximized on the wide variety of activities Peru has to offer. The stories Fran shared gave us a unique perspective on the country that made each location we visited unforgettable.

Throughout the month, we traveled through every climate and landscape you can imagine. Between the natural beauty of the Amazon Jungle, to the breathtaking sunsets of the desert, to the larger than life views in Andes mountains -- every weekend had something brand new to offer. There were also plenty of opportunities to ignite your inner adrenaline junkie on each weekend getaway, which was a surprise I was extra pumped about!

To wrap it up, if you crave adventure & variety, great food & great people, Peru is the right place for you!
