This month was my first time traveling…
Dieser Monat war das erste Mal, dass ich länger als ein Wochenende in einem Resort ins Ausland gereist bin, und ich war so dankbar für die einfühlsame Begleitung, die nicht nur von Amanda und JD kam, sondern von der unterstützenden Gemeinschaft, die Amanda in Moksha aufgebaut hat. Ich hatte immer das Gefühl, einen Ort zu haben, an den ich mich mit Fragen wenden konnte, und ein Sicherheitsnetz versierter Leute, die mich unterstützten, wenn ich nicht daran dachte zu fragen. Ich kam für einen Monat zu einer Gruppe, in der viele schon im 11. Monat waren, und wurde aufgenommen, obwohl die Kreise bereits eng verbunden waren. JD brachte eine echte Begeisterung mit, die mir half, mich in Peru zu verlieben, und seine Restaurantempfehlungen haben nie enttäuscht! Meine Erfahrung mit Remote Year, auch wenn sie im Vergleich zu den meisten kurz war, war unvergesslich und transformativ!
This month was my first time traveling outside of the country for longer than a weekend on a resort, and I was so greatful for the gentle guidance that was provided not just by Amanda and JD, but by the community of support that Amanda has worked to build into Moksha. I always felt like I had a place to go for questions, and a safety net of savy individuals to back me up when I didn't think to ask questions. I came in for one month to a group of people where many were on their 11th, and was welcomed in even though circles where already ready tight knit. JD provided a genuine enthusiasm that helped me fall in love with Peru, and recommendations for restaurants that never disappointed! My experience with remote year, even though brief by most comparisons, has been an unforgettable and transformitive experience!
