Nestled at the base of the Atlas Mountains lies Marrakech, or The Red City. A mystical melting pot of cultures, traditions, art and design, Morocco's most famous Imperial City hosts a thriving contrast between ancient and modern life. Located just two hours from the Atlantic coast in the heart of the country, this fiery historic hub is Morocco’s pride and joy. There are a thousand and one ways to describe it, yet one word summarizes it all: Inspiring.

This February and March only, we're bringing together 25 people from creative and entrepreneurial backgrounds to live, co-work from, and explore Marrakech together for one month at a time. The Unsettled experience is designed to offer you an intentional break from your routine, and the space to find inspiration, build new relationships, and grow new ideas. A month with Unsettled is about embracing the unknown, and living the best version of yourself with an incredible community of peers while still being productive.

Red clay architecture against a blue sky and dotted with palm trees - that’s Marrakech. Marrakech is actually two cities - the old medina and Gueliz, the new town. Heavily influenced by the west, Gueliz boasts a chic nightlife scene and all the comforts of the European world set against an Arabic backdrop, whereas the ancient medina’s tall red walls encompass a fully-function old town still rooted deep in Berber, Arab and Jewish traditions, and its curiosities continue to lure visitors from all corners of the world for generations.

So just about a year ago I made the decision to do my first Unsettled trip, in Bali no less. I found out about Unsettled on a sponsored ad on Facebook and it looked interesting but I was a little cautious for many reasons. I indicated my interest for the September 2017 Bali group and within a short time I had a Skype call with the amazing Alex of Unsettled and it was a done deal, I was sold and convinced that this is what my soul needed. I'm so late with this review, but I have written it a hundred times in my head. All the amazing things I loved about the concept, the trip and the people. Unsettled facilitates these fantastic 30 day co-working experiences, bringing together a group of dynamic, different but wonderful people from all over the world, arranging accommodation, experiences and co-working facilities, if you need it. I personally wanted the option to work but while in Bali, I was like, meh, you're not in Bali everyday are u! The trip was nothing I could have imagined but everything I could have possibly wanted, my beloved Alex was not on the trip but I soon learnt that apparently everyone in the Unsettled team, Lala, Bonnie and Kelly were wonderful people, with a passion for what they do and so much experience and expertise at the end of it I literally could not find one way to suggest and improvement for how they did what they did. The participants came from all corners of the globe, I'm from Trinidad, in the Caribbean, there were ppl from the UK, Lebanon, South Africa, Ghana, Germany, Canada, Maldova, Jordan, Yemen, Egypt and the list goes on, but we shed tears as we had to part ways after a month of becoming like family. There was adventure, learning, purpose, relaxation, excitement, soul searching and bliss all coming together to form a truly life changing experience. It was truly cathartic... 11/10 chance I will do it again, I'm dying to do the Morocco trip!! The end result, there is no way you would be making a mistake by doing it your only regret maybe like mine is wishing u had done it sooner... Cheers guys � � �
