Feel.Travel: Morocco Ocean Lifestyle Retreat – Surf, Yoga & Connection 🇲🇦

My co-working trip to Portugal in March 2026 with Feel.Travel turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself in the last few years.

Originally, I planned to go to Mexico, but after just two video calls with Marcy, I decided to change direction and join this trip instead. What I felt through those conversations was a sense of trust, ease, and clarity, and it felt like being guided by someone I had known for a long time.

From the first moment, the experience felt natural and well supported. The group dynamic was light, without unnecessary pressure, and everything was organized in a way that allowed both structure and personal space.

Marcy-my original contact for this trip, I found her post on Facebook and replied, played a key role in this. Her presence, energy, and way of connecting with people created a very safe and open environment. The connection and friendship that developed there feels truly special.

Even with some unexpected challenges during the trip, the team handled everything professionally and made sure we could still enjoy the experience.

For me, as someone joining this type of trip for the first time, the level of support and guidance was exactly right. It never felt overwhelming, just well held, with space to connect, work, and enjoy the experience.

Overall, it’s difficult to imagine how this could have been done better.

Having already taken part in 5 trips, it has gradually become a tradition for me to go on a co-working trip with Feel.Travel at the end of the year. The villa-setting close to nature gives me time to reflect on the past year, and the fresh inspiration I gain from like-minded people, gives me the energy I need to reestablish my morning routines and to work towards my goals. Truly special these trips and I am always fascinated by how quickly strangers become like family. See you soon on the next adventure!

It has taken me a few days to understand how to put this experience into words, because calling it simply a “retreat” doesn’t feel enough.
When I arrived, I thought I knew why I was there. I wanted to step outside my comfort zone, disconnect from my normal life and give myself some space to think. What I didn’t expect was how much this experience would make me look at myself, my life, everything I have achieved, and most importantly, what I actually want next.

I’m someone who is always moving. Working, achieving, planning the next goal, taking responsibility and being strong for everyone around me. Slowing down, letting go of control and allowing myself to be vulnerable doesn’t come naturally to me.

And somehow, Nico and Chiara created a space where I could do exactly that.
But what made this experience so special wasn’t only the sessions. It was everything around them.

The morning motivation that set the energy for the day. The yoga class that brought us back into the moment. Swimming together. The conversations that started during a session and continued for hours afterwards because none of us wanted them to end.

And sometimes it was something as simple as Nico giving you a hug in the morning. Such a small gesture, but in that environment even the smallest things felt meaningful.

Then there was the karaoke night… absolutely unforgettable. 😂❤️ Singing, dancing, laughing and seeing everyone completely let go is one of those memories that will instantly make me smile whenever I think about this week.
And the people… honestly, the people were one of the greatest gifts of this experience.

We arrived as complete strangers, but within hours something shifted. The walls came down, conversations became real, and somehow it felt like we had known each other for years.

Every person I met made me think about something differently. Hearing their stories, their fears, their ambitions and their perspectives made me question things about myself even more. Some of the deepest connections actually happened after the sessions — sitting together around the villa, talking about what had come up, continuing conversations, laughing, sharing stories or simply being there for each other.

The villa became our little world.
For those few days, everything outside almost disappeared. We created our own routines, our own jokes, our own moments and this strange little family made up of people who had barely known each other hours before.

One of the moments closest to my heart was cooking a Moroccan dinner for everyone.
I’m a chef, so cooking is normally my work, my responsibility and a huge part of my identity. But that evening felt completely different. I wasn’t cooking as a Head Chef. I was simply sharing a piece of myself, my culture and my story with people I had grown genuinely close to.
Seeing everyone around the same table, eating, laughing and sharing that moment together meant far more to me than I expected.
And I think that perfectly represents what Nico and Chiara created.

Moments that might look simple from the outside but meant something much deeper when you were there.
I arrived thinking I needed answers.
I left realising that maybe I needed better questions.

I came home with new friendships, new perspectives, a completely different energy and this very strong feeling that something inside me has shifted.

Nico and Chiara, thank you for your energy, honesty and care. Thank you for creating a place where it felt safe to be vulnerable, to question ourselves, to laugh at ourselves and simply be ourselves.

And thank you for bringing together this incredible group of human beings. I genuinely believe that meeting them was part of the experience I needed.
I still don’t know exactly where everything I discovered during this week will take me.
But for once, I don’t need to know. I’m just excited to find out.

It was my first time being a trip leader through Feel Travel, and I have to say that it was such a fun and rewarding experience! We were six people from five different countries. We cooked together, went on excursions, hiked, danced, played games, spent lots of time in the jacuzzi, and much more. :)
After just a few days, we felt like a family, and it felt very empty when everyone left after nine days together on this beautiful island of Gotland. I would absolutely love to do this again!

I had such a wonderful experience at the Amplify & Rise Retreat in Crete. From the very beginning, everything felt special – starting with the incredible location: a beautiful villa with a pool, stunning views of the sea and the perfect setting to slow down, connect and focus on yourself.

What made this retreat truly unique for me was the group. Everyone came with different personalities, backgrounds, experiences and strengths, and somehow all of these different energies came together in such a beautiful way. I think that is one of the most special things about retreats like this: every person brings something to the group, and through conversations, shared experiences and simply spending time together, you learn so much from one another.

Throughout the week we had daily meditations and visualisations, meaningful workshops that really encouraged us to go deeper, and many inspiring conversations. There was space to reflect on where you are in life, what you truly want, what you want to create and what might be holding you back. I came away with new perspectives, fresh motivation and a stronger sense of clarity about the things I want to pursue.

Chiara guided the group beautifully. She created a space where everyone could open up, reflect and explore their own thoughts while giving us so many valuable impulses along the way. Nico did an amazing job organizing everything, bringing the group together and making sure there was always a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

It was a beautiful week with a wonderful team and group of people, and I am very grateful that I got to be part of it. I left Crete with new inspiration, beautiful memories and connections that made the experience truly special. Thank you, Chiara and Nico for creating such a memorable retreat!

It’s difficult to express in a few words how magical is the atmosphere that Nico is able to create through this type of trips. I have been travelling and living around the world for more than 20 years and this experience stood out as truly remarkable. Nico is going the extra mile to make everyone feel included, happy and taken care of. You will meet true friends, have meaningful conversation, balance work with leisure and have a chance to properly reflect on your future direction. Being a nomad or simply a remote worker or an expat is not easy. We need people like
Nico to help us navigating these complexities.
