This October we're heading to Apokoronas, one of the most beautiful and least touristy corners of the island, for nine nights of remote work, genuine connection, and unforgettable experiences shared with a small group of like-minded people.

The Villa

We'll be staying at Villa Chrysallis, nestled in the peaceful Cretan countryside near Apokoronas.

The villa features six bedrooms, each with a private ensuite bathroom, a heated swimming pool, a spacious BBQ area, a fully equipped kitchen, and terraces overlooking the mountains and valleys. It's the kind of place that feels like home by the second day—spacious enough to always find your own quiet corner, yet connected enough that you're never alone.

The group is intentionally kept small. That's where the magic happens.

The Experience

Mornings are slow here. That's not a bug, it's the whole point.

Coffee on the terrace while the Cretan countryside wakes up around you, maybe a quick swim before opening the laptop. Work happens wherever feels right: by the pool, around the large dining table, or in a quiet corner indoors. The WiFi is reliable, the villa offers plenty of comfortable workspaces, and somehow, work genuinely feels better here.

And when the laptops close, Crete takes over.

We'll BBQ under the stars, discover family-run tavernas where hospitality comes naturally, and jump into rental cars to explore wherever curiosity leads us—hidden beaches, mountain villages, winding roads, and viewpoints that hardly seem real.

Some evenings we'll head out. Others we'll spend at the villa with music playing, another bottle being opened, conversations that begin unexpectedly, and nights that somehow stretch well past midnight.

There'll be dancing. There'll be laughter until it hurts. There'll also be those quieter moments, sitting outside under the stars, looking across the valley, talking about life in the kind of way that only happens when the rest of the world feels very far away.

It's flow, not pressure. Connection, not chaos. A coworking trip that balances productive workdays with presence, adventure, and meaningful human connection.

Work Rhythm

This is a genuine coworking trip. Weekdays follow a normal remote working schedule, with mornings as shared focus time and afternoons opening up as everyone finishes work. The villa offers reliable WiFi throughout, both indoors and outdoors, with plenty of comfortable spaces for calls and focused work.

Exploring Crete

Beyond villa life, we'll spend our free time discovering the authentic side of Crete, hidden beaches, traditional mountain villages, scenic drives through olive groves, and local tavernas where every meal feels like being welcomed into someone's home.

The itinerary stays intentionally flexible, leaving room for spontaneous discoveries and the moments that often become the best memories.
