J'ai eu la chance de voyager à Medellín, en Colombie, avec Venture with Impact en juin et je le recommande vivement ! C'est vraiment comme ça que je veux voyager à l'avenir. Avoir tout de suite des amis qui nous ressemblent, un expert de la ville (merci Lindsay !), un super endroit où loger et une façon de se connecter authentiquement à la communauté grâce au bénévolat est inestimable et en fait bien plus qu'un simple voyage. Je recommande aussi vivement Medellín, c'est une ville tellement progressiste ! Le système de transports en commun est incroyable et il y a tellement de choses à faire : randonnées, cours de danse, sport dans les nombreuses salles de sport en plein air gratuites, et repas avec des "menus del dia" incroyables et des produits frais (pour si peu cher !). I had the chance to travel to Medellin, Colombia with Venture with Impact in June and highly recommend it! This is definitely the way that I want to travel in the future. Immediately having like-minded friends, a city expert (thanks Lindsay!), a great place to stay and a way to authentically connect to the community through volunteering is invaluable and makes it so much more more than just a trip. I also highly recommend Medellin it is such a progressive city! The public transportation system is amazing and there is so much to do from hiking, dance lessons, exercising in the numerous free outdoor gyms and eating amazing "menus del dia" and fresh produce (for so cheap!).
