Ho avuto la possibilità di viaggiare a Medellín, in Colombia, con Venture with Impact a giugno e lo consiglio vivamente! Questo è decisamente il modo in cui voglio viaggiare in futuro. Avere subito amici con gli stessi interessi, un esperto della città (grazie Lindsay!), un ottimo posto dove stare e un modo per entrare in contatto in modo autentico con la comunità attraverso il volontariato è inestimabile e rende il tutto molto più di un semplice viaggio. Consiglio vivamente anche Medellín, è una città così progressista! Il sistema di trasporti pubblici è fantastico e c'è così tanto da fare: escursioni, lezioni di ballo, allenarsi nelle numerose palestre all'aperto gratuite e mangiare fantastici "menus del dia" e prodotti freschi (a prezzi bassissimi!). I had the chance to travel to Medellin, Colombia with Venture with Impact in June and highly recommend it! This is definitely the way that I want to travel in the future. Immediately having like-minded friends, a city expert (thanks Lindsay!), a great place to stay and a way to authentically connect to the community through volunteering is invaluable and makes it so much more more than just a trip. I also highly recommend Medellin it is such a progressive city! The public transportation system is amazing and there is so much to do from hiking, dance lessons, exercising in the numerous free outdoor gyms and eating amazing "menus del dia" and fresh produce (for so cheap!).
