Tive a chance de viajar para Medellín, na Colômbia, com a Venture with Impact em junho e recomendo muito! Esta é definitivamente a forma como quero viajar no futuro. Ter imediatamente amigos com os mesmos interesses, um especialista na cidade (obrigada, Lindsay!), um ótimo lugar para ficar e uma forma de se conectar de maneira autêntica com a comunidade por meio do voluntariado não tem preço e faz com que seja muito mais do que apenas uma viagem. Também recomendo muito Medellín, é uma cidade tão progressista! O sistema de transporte público é incrível e há muito o que fazer: trilhas, aulas de dança, se exercitar nas diversas academias ao ar livre gratuitas e comer "menus del dia" incríveis e produtos frescos (por tão pouco!). I had the chance to travel to Medellin, Colombia with Venture with Impact in June and highly recommend it! This is definitely the way that I want to travel in the future. Immediately having like-minded friends, a city expert (thanks Lindsay!), a great place to stay and a way to authentically connect to the community through volunteering is invaluable and makes it so much more more than just a trip. I also highly recommend Medellin it is such a progressive city! The public transportation system is amazing and there is so much to do from hiking, dance lessons, exercising in the numerous free outdoor gyms and eating amazing "menus del dia" and fresh produce (for so cheap!).
