Incredible community to work and travel with.
Questo è stato il mio primo viaggio HP ed è stata un'esperienza incredibile. La location (Playa Grande a Guanacaste, Costa Rica) aveva una bella atmosfera chill da spiaggia; gli alloggi corrispondevano alla descrizione e il gruppo con cui ho viaggiato era incredibilmente divertente, con persone incredibilmente diverse. E il facilitatore della community (Sam) è stato molto attento.
La mia preoccupazione prima di partire era che il gruppo fosse composto da un sacco di gente che voleva fare festa tutto il giorno, ma non è stato così. Durante la giornata lavorativa tutti erano molto concentrati sul lavoro, ma nei weekend abbiamo fatto molte avventure di gruppo
Un vantaggio intangibile di viaggiare con HP rispetto a viaggiare da soli: una rete di supporto per quando succede qualcosa di inaspettato. Durante il viaggio, a qualcuno si è rotto il caricabatterie del laptop... e nel giro di 15 minuti dal post su Slack, due persone gli hanno offerto un caricabatterie in più per il resto del viaggio, un consiglio su dove comprarne uno nuovo in Costa Rica e un passaggio fino al negozio.

This was my first HP trip, and it was an incredible experience. The location (Playa Grande in Guanacaste, Costa Rica) had some great chill beach vibes; accommodations were accurate to their description, and the group I traveled with was incredibly fun, incredibly diverse people. And the community facilitator (Sam) was very attentive.
My concern going into this was that the group would be made up of a bunch of people who wanted to party all day, but that was not the case. During the workday everyone was very much focused on work but on the weekends we had lots of group adventures
An intangible benefit of traveling with HP vs solo: a support network for when something unexpected happens. During the trip, someone's laptop charge broke... and within 15 minutes of posting it on Slack, they had two people offer an extra charge for the rest of the trip, a recommendation on where to buy a new one in Costa Rica, and an offer to get a ride to the store.
This was my first HP trip, but won't be my last.
