C’était mon premier voyage HP, et ce fut une expérience incroyable. Le lieu (Playa Grande à Guanacaste, Costa Rica) avait une super ambiance plage tranquille ; les hébergements correspondaient à leur description, et le groupe avec lequel j’ai voyagé était incroyablement fun, des gens incroyablement variés. Et le facilitateur de la communauté (Sam) était très attentionné.

Mon inquiétude en y allant était que le groupe soit composé de gens qui voulaient faire la fête toute la journée, mais ce n’était pas le cas. Pendant la journée de travail, tout le monde était très concentré sur son travail, mais le week-end nous avons fait plein d’aventures en groupe

Un avantage intangible de voyager avec HP plutôt que seul : un réseau de soutien quand quelque chose d’inattendu arrive. Pendant le voyage, le chargeur d’ordinateur de quelqu’un a lâché... et en moins de 15 minutes après l’avoir posté sur Slack, deux personnes lui ont proposé un chargeur en plus pour le reste du voyage, une recommandation sur où en acheter un nouveau au Costa Rica, et une offre de l’emmener en voiture au magasin.

This was my first HP trip, and it was an incredible experience. The location (Playa Grande in Guanacaste, Costa Rica) had some great chill beach vibes; accommodations were accurate to their description, and the group I traveled with was incredibly fun, incredibly diverse people. And the community facilitator (Sam) was very attentive.

My concern going into this was that the group would be made up of a bunch of people who wanted to party all day, but that was not the case. During the workday everyone was very much focused on work but on the weekends we had lots of group adventures

An intangible benefit of traveling with HP vs solo: a support network for when something unexpected happens. During the trip, someone's laptop charge broke... and within 15 minutes of posting it on Slack, they had two people offer an extra charge for the rest of the trip, a recommendation on where to buy a new one in Costa Rica, and an offer to get a ride to the store.

This was my first HP trip, but won't be my last.
