Es ist schwer zu erklären, wie besonders und magisch das Chateau ist. Ich habe mehrere Colivings gemacht – und plane immer noch weitere –, aber dieses hier ist einfach unschlagbar und ich fürchte, nichts wird es übertreffen!

Wenn du der Typ Mensch bist, der eine Community mitgestalten will, der sich tief mit anderen verbinden will, der langsamer machen und etwas erleben will, was die meisten Leute in Frankreich nie zu sehen bekommen, der Geschichte schätzt, die Natur liebt und ja – bereit ist, sein Geschirr und sogar das Geschirr anderer zu spülen – dann könnte das Chateau genau das Richtige für dich sein.

In einem jahrhundertealten Schloss aufzuwachen, umgeben von einer offenen und liebevollen Community, in die Küche zu gehen für die 15. Tasse Kaffee, es sich am Feuer gemütlich zu machen, das 45. Rad Brie zu essen ... das alles könnte dir zur Verfügung stehen!

- In einem Ort zu leben, der von Geschichte durchdrungen ist, alt und modern
- Ein großer Fernseher, um sich für gemeinsame Serien und Filme zu versammeln
- Zweimal wöchentlich Lebensmittel-Abholung
- Ein Gelände, das irgendwie einfach vor Magie schimmert (vielleicht ist es der Nebel?!)

Ich habe etwa 6 Wochen im Chateau verbracht und hätte nicht dankbarer sein können. Wenn du die Gelegenheit hast und mit anderen etwas Einzigartiges und Schönes schaffen willst, kann ich es nicht mehr empfehlen. ❤️🏰✨

It's hard to explain how special and magical the Chateau is. I've done several colivings - and always have more that I plan to do -but this one just takes the cake and I fear nothing will top it!

If you're the type of person who wants to co-create a community, who wants to connect deeply with others, wants to slow down and experience something different than most folks will ever see in France, appreciates history, loves nature, and yes - are eager to wash your dishes and even the dishes of others - then the Chateau could be just the thing for you.

Waking up in a centuries old castle, surrounded by an open-minded and loving community, heading down to the kitchen for your 15th cup of coffee, cozying up by the fire, eating your 45th wheel of brie ... this could all be available to you!

- INCREDIBLE community managers. Seriously, my stay would not have been the same without the truly remarkable Sarah, Alejandra, and Kevin. They infuse the magic and love into every day and I'm so grateful for them.

- Thursday night community dinners
- Sunday morning crepes!!
- Teams to share the work of keeping the community spinning together
- Great Slack communications and easy onboarding
- Living in a place steeped in history, ancient and modern
- A big TV to gather round for shared shows and movies
- Twice weekly grocery pickup
- Grounds that just shimmer with magic somehow (maybe it's the fog?!)

I spent about 6 weeks at the Chateau and I could not have been more grateful for them. If you have the opportunity and want to create something unique and beautiful with others, I could not recommend it more. ❤️🏰✨

Unser Aufenthalt im Chateau de L’Isle Marie war herrlich! Zwei Wochen in einem Schloss zu leben war das Highlight unserer ganzen Frankreichreise. Das Chateau liegt in einem Naturpark in der Normandie, nahe den D-Day-Stränden, vielen netten Städtchen und einem kurzen Roadtrip vom Mont St Michel entfernt. Unser Schlafzimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber und gemütlich. Die Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren sehr geräumig und gemütlich, und wir haben es genossen, Zeit mit den anderen Gästen zu verbringen und bei lustigen Aktivitäten mitzumachen. Wir arbeiten remote und der Büroraum hatte sehr gutes WLAN und bequeme Schreibtische und Stühle. Jorge und Gabe haben einen TOLLEN Job gemacht, das Chateau zu managen und eine wunderbare Atmosphäre und Gemeinschaft unter den Colivern zu schaffen. Sie waren sehr aufmerksam gegenüber unseren Bedürfnissen. Sehr empfehlenswert für jeden digitalen Nomaden!

Our stay at Chateau de L’Isle Marie was delightful! Living in a castle for two weeks was the highlight of our entire trip to France. Located in a Natural Park Normandy, the chateau is close to D-day beaches, many cute towns, and a short road trip to Mont St Michel. Our bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The common areas were very spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed spending time and joining in on fun activities with the other guests. We work remotely and the office space had very good WiFi, and comfortable desks and chairs. Jorge and Gabe did an AMAZING job managing the chateau and creating a wonderful atmosphere and community among the co-livers. They were very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this place to any digital nomad!

Der Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Schloss war eines der Highlights unserer letzten Frankreichreise (wir waren hier als Basis, um die Normandie zu erkunden). Wir hatten einen so ruhigen und erholsamen Aufenthalt. Valentina und Nicola sind ausgezeichnete Gastgeber und das Abendessen war wirklich unvergesslich!

Staying at this lovely chateau was one of the highlights of our recent trip to France (we stayed here as a base for exploring Normandy). We had such a peaceful and restorative stay. Valentina and Nicola are excellent hosts, and dinner was truly unforgettable!

Eine außergewöhnliche Coliving- und Coworking-Erfahrung in der Normandie

Ich hatte das Glück, Zeit im Château Coliving zu verbringen, und es ist ehrlich gesagt eine der inspirierendsten Erfahrungen, die ich je hatte. Das Château selbst ist wunderschön – liebevoll restauriert, elegant eingerichtet und umgeben von friedlicher normannischer Landschaft. Die Zimmer sind hell, komfortabel und voller Charakter, mit allem, was man braucht, um sich zu Hause zu fühlen.

Aber was diesen Ort außergewöhnlich macht, ist die Community. Es ist eine echte Familie aus freundlichen, kreativen und interessanten Menschen aus der ganzen Welt. Wir haben gemeinsame Abendessen, Nachmittagstees, Spieleabende ("Among Us"-Abende sind hier legendär), Kunst-Sessions, Skill-Sharing-Runden und Wanderungen durch die nahe Landschaft und entlang der Küste gehabt. Die Gastgeber organisieren auch tolle Tagesausflüge – zu Orten wie Bayeux, Étretat, Mont-Saint-Michel, Granville und Dieppe –, bei denen man sich noch mehr in die Normandie verliebt.

Wenn du einen Ort suchst, an dem du dich konzentrieren, kreativ sein und dich sofort willkommen fühlen kannst, dann ist es dieser. Château Coliving bietet das perfekte Umfeld für Produktivität, Freundschaft und Inspiration. Ich werde meine Zeit hier immer in meinem Herzen tragen. 💛

An exceptional coliving & coworking experience in Normandy

I’ve been lucky enough to spend time at Château Coliving, and it’s honestly one of the most inspiring experiences I’ve ever had. The château itself is beautiful — thoughtfully restored, elegantly decorated, and surrounded by peaceful Normandy countryside. The rooms are bright, comfortable, and full of character, with everything you need to feel at home.

But what makes this place extraordinary is the community. It’s a genuine family of kind, creative, and interesting people from all over the world. We shared dinners, afternoon teas, game nights (“Among Us” nights here are legendary), art sessions, skill shares, and hikes through the nearby countryside and along the coastline. The hosts also organize amazing day trips — to places like Bayeux, Étretat, Mont-Saint-Michel, Granville, and Dieppe — that make you fall even more in love with Normandy.

If you’re looking for a place where you can focus, create, and feel instantly welcome, this is it. Château Coliving provides the perfect environment for productivity, friendship, and inspiration. I’ll always carry my time here in my heart. 💛

Ich habe einen Monat im Château gelebt, und was für ein magischer Monat! Fast jede Bewertung wird das wahrscheinlich sagen, und das hat einen Grund. Ich habe die tollsten Leute getroffen, köstlich gegessen, wie ein König gelebt und viel Geschichte gelernt. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen, und ich empfehle jedem, der überlegt, hier zu übernachten, es zu tun.

I spent a month living in the chateau, and what a magical month! Almost every review will probably say that, and there's a reason. I met the most amazing people, ate delicious food, lived like a king, and learned a lot of history. I will definitely return, and I highly recommend anybody considering staying here to do it.

Ich hatte im August 2025 einen wirklich unglaublichen Monat im Chateau Coliving. Ich habe mich monatelang darauf gefreut und es mir in der Fantasie richtig ausgemalt, deshalb hatte ich etwas Sorge, dass es den Erwartungen nicht gerecht wird, aber tatsächlich hat es sie übertroffen.

Das Chateau selbst ist geräumig, aber nicht riesig – irgendwie perfekt, klein genug, um sich gemütlich und vertraut anzufühlen, aber groß genug, um Platz für sich zu finden. Eine große Sorge war die Küche – bei 22 Colivern dachte ich, sie wäre zu den Essenszeiten überlaufen, aber das passierte selten, weil die Leute so unterschiedliche Zeitpläne hatten. Und ich habe es geliebt, ein oder zwei Freunden zu begegnen, wenn ich in die Küche kam. Sehr unkompliziert und angenehm.

Das Beste an dieser Erfahrung ist das durchdachte Community-Management. Das Team hat großartige Arbeit geleistet, uns willkommen zu heißen und unserer Gruppe zu helfen, authentisch und schnell zusammenzuwachsen. Bis zum Ende der ersten Woche waren wir alle eng verbunden, was bemerkenswert ist.

Die Einrichtungen sind etwas abgenutzt und rustikal, was ich erwartet hatte, aber es ist erwähnenswert, falls du ein Fünf-Sterne-Resort-Erlebnis erwartest! Das ist ein gemütlicher Ort, was bedeutet: eingewohnte Möbel (viele davon Antiquitäten mit unglaublich viel Charme und Charakter!) Und ich LIEBTE mein Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Hat sich super besonders angefühlt. Alles in allem eine wirklich tolle Erfahrung; ich komme wieder!

I had a truly incredible month at Chateau Coliving in August 2025. I looked forward to it for months and really built it up in my imagination, so was a little worried it wouldn’t live up to expectations but in fact it exceeded them.

The chateau itself is spacious but not huge - kind of perfect, small enough to feel cozy and familiar but big enough to be able to get space to yourself. One big concern was the kitchen - with 22 colivers I thought it would get slammed at meal times, but this rarely happened because people were on such different schedules. And I loved bumping into one or two friends when I wandered into the kitchen. Very easy and comfortable.

The best thing about this experience is the thoughtful community management. The team did an amazing job at welcoming us and helping our group to gel authentically and quickly. By the end of the first week, we were all close and connected, which is remarkable.

The facilities are a little worn and rustic, which was what I expected, but worth flagging if you’re expecting a five star resort experience! This is a homey place, which means lived-in furniture (many of which are antiques with tons of charm and character!) And I LOVED my room with shared bath. Felt super special. Altogether a really great experience; I’ll be back!
