Le attività introduttive della 1ª settimana sono state fantastiche. Mi hanno aiutata molto a orientarmi e a farmi un'idea generale della città prima di esplorarla davvero, e a conoscere il maggior numero possibile di persone. Pecha Kucha e Unconference mi hanno aiutata a individuare le persone che pensavo potessero aiutarmi nel mio cambio di carriera; sono riuscita a presentarmi e a ottenere i consigli e l'aiuto che cercavo.

La nostra guida e city manager, Flo e Nat, hanno lavorato davvero sodo per far sì che vivessimo il nostro mese o i 4 mesi di soggiorno con integrità (cioè non devi partecipare a ogni evento, ma partecipa e impara lungo il percorso).

Apprezzo molto il tempo dedicato a incontrare persone del posto vere, quando possibile, e a sostenere il loro lavoro.

1st week’s introductory activities were great. It really helped me to orient/ generalize the city scape before really trying to explore and to maximize getting to know others. Pecha Kucha & Unconference helped me identify the individuals that I thought could help me on my career pivot journey; I was able to introduce myself and get the advice and help that I was seeking.

Our city guide and city manager Flo & Nat worked really hard to ensure that we were treating our month or 4 month stay with integrity (I.e you dont have to engage in every event but do participate and learn along the way).

I do appreciate the important time spent meeting real local people when we can and supporting their work.
