Les activités d'introduction de la 1re semaine étaient super. Elles m'ont vraiment aidée à m'orienter et à me faire une idée d'ensemble de la ville avant de vraiment l'explorer, et à rencontrer un maximum de monde. Pecha Kucha et Unconference m'ont aidée à repérer les personnes qui pouvaient, selon moi, m'aider dans ma reconversion ; j'ai pu me présenter et obtenir les conseils et l'aide que je cherchais.

Notre guide et city manager, Flo et Nat, ont travaillé très dur pour que nous vivions notre mois ou nos 4 mois de séjour avec intégrité (c.-à-d. vous n'avez pas à participer à tous les événements, mais participez et apprenez en chemin).

J'apprécie beaucoup le temps passé à rencontrer de vraies personnes du coin quand c'était possible et à soutenir leur travail.

1st week’s introductory activities were great. It really helped me to orient/ generalize the city scape before really trying to explore and to maximize getting to know others. Pecha Kucha & Unconference helped me identify the individuals that I thought could help me on my career pivot journey; I was able to introduce myself and get the advice and help that I was seeking.

Our city guide and city manager Flo & Nat worked really hard to ensure that we were treating our month or 4 month stay with integrity (I.e you dont have to engage in every event but do participate and learn along the way).

I do appreciate the important time spent meeting real local people when we can and supporting their work.
