Je recommande vivement VWI, pour celles et ceux qui recherchent l’aventure à l’international, veulent avoir un impact social, rencontrer des gens incroyables, découvrir de nouvelles cultures et simplement faire quelque chose de différent. J’avais étudié plusieurs programmes pour nomades numériques avant de choisir VWI, mais je me suis finalement décidé pour VWI grâce au jumelage avec des organisations à but non lucratif et à la flexibilité de ne s’engager que pour un mois minimum à la fois. Je ne pourrais pas être plus content de ma décision de choisir ce programme.

J’ai en fait décidé de faire deux mois : Medellín, en Colombie, en juillet et Lisbonne, au Portugal, en août 2018. Les deux ont été des expériences géniales et aussi très différentes : les bénévoles, les villes, la culture, les langues, les activités, tout était nouveau et excitant. Participer à du conseil pro bono dans deux entreprises socialement engagées, me faire des amis pour la vie, apprendre sur le plan personnel et professionnel et me pousser hors de ma zone de confort : tout cela a été très gratifiant.

Je suis reconnaissant pour cette expérience et très reconnaissant envers l’équipe et les bénévoles de VWI d’avoir créé un voyage aussi mémorable que nous avons partagé ensemble. Un grand merci à Lindsay et Jess pour leur travail, leur soutien et leur énergie positive !

I would highly recommend VWI - for those that seek adventure internationally, want to make a social impact, meet incredible people, get introduced to new cultures, and who simply just want to do something different. I had researched several digital nomad programs before deciding on VWI, but ultimately decided on VWI because of the non-profit program pairing and the flexibility of doing one month minimum at a time. I couldn’t have been more happy with the decision to choose this program.

I actually decided to do two months - Medellin, Colombia in July and Lisbon, Portugal in August of 2018. Both were very awesome experiences and also very different - the volunteers, the cities, the culture, the languages, the activities were all new and exciting. Participating in pro-bono consulting work at two different socially conscious companies, making lifelong friends, learning personally and professionally, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone - all of this was very rewarding.

I am grateful for this experience and am so thankful for the VWI staff and volunteers for creating such a memorable journey that we shared together. Shoutout to Lindsay and Jess for their hard work, support, and positive energy!
