Eu recomendaria muito a VWI, para quem busca aventura internacional, quer causar impacto social, conhecer pessoas incríveis, ter contato com novas culturas e simplesmente fazer algo diferente. Pesquisei vários programas para nômades digitais antes de decidir pela VWI, mas acabei escolhendo a VWI por causa do pareamento com organizações sem fins lucrativos e da flexibilidade de fazer no mínimo um mês por vez. Não poderia estar mais feliz com a decisão de escolher este programa.

Na verdade, decidi fazer dois meses: Medellín, Colômbia, em julho e Lisboa, Portugal, em agosto de 2018. Ambas foram experiências muito incríveis e também muito diferentes: os voluntários, as cidades, a cultura, os idiomas, as atividades, tudo era novo e empolgante. Participar de trabalho de consultoria pro bono em duas empresas socialmente conscientes, fazer amigos para a vida toda, aprender pessoal e profissionalmente e me desafiar a sair da zona de conforto: tudo isso foi muito gratificante.

Sou grato por essa experiência e muito agradecido à equipe e aos voluntários da VWI por criarem uma jornada tão memorável que compartilhamos juntos. Um agradecimento especial à Lindsay e à Jess pelo trabalho duro, pelo apoio e pela energia positiva!

I would highly recommend VWI - for those that seek adventure internationally, want to make a social impact, meet incredible people, get introduced to new cultures, and who simply just want to do something different. I had researched several digital nomad programs before deciding on VWI, but ultimately decided on VWI because of the non-profit program pairing and the flexibility of doing one month minimum at a time. I couldn’t have been more happy with the decision to choose this program.

I actually decided to do two months - Medellin, Colombia in July and Lisbon, Portugal in August of 2018. Both were very awesome experiences and also very different - the volunteers, the cities, the culture, the languages, the activities were all new and exciting. Participating in pro-bono consulting work at two different socially conscious companies, making lifelong friends, learning personally and professionally, and pushing myself out of my comfort zone - all of this was very rewarding.

I am grateful for this experience and am so thankful for the VWI staff and volunteers for creating such a memorable journey that we shared together. Shoutout to Lindsay and Jess for their hard work, support, and positive energy!
