L'équipe de VWI a fait tout son possible pour m'aider à atteindre mes objectifs personnels. Mon seul tort a été de ne pas les prévenir quand j'avais des inquiétudes. Par exemple : j'avais une inquiétude à propos de mon bénévolat que j'ai gardée pour moi pendant quelques jours avant d'en parler et, à ma grande surprise, le problème a été réglé avant la fin de la journée de travail (si je n'avais pas été aussi nerveux à l'idée d'en parler).
Quand je suis arrivé à Trujillo, j'étais nerveux et je me demandais dans quoi je m'étais embarqué, mais je me suis vite fait des amis parmi les habitants (qui sont TRÈS serviables et sympathiques), ce qui a comblé les vides de mon emploi du temps. J'ai tout ! De la super cuisine, du bénévolat, des amis, des excursions à la journée, de la salle de sport, de la place pour travailler sur mes études, de l'aventure, je pourrais continuer...
Je suis vraiment content d'avoir participé à cette expérience. Je compte continuer tant que je pourrai travailler depuis mon ordinateur !

The folks at VWI did everything in their power to help me with my personal goals. My only downfall was not letting them know when I had concerns. ie: I had a concern about my volunteering which I stuck out for a couple of days before saying anything to my surprise, the issue was cleared up by the end of the workday, (if I wasn't so nervous about saying something).
When I got to Trujillo I was nervous and wondering what I got myself into, but I quickly made friends with the locals (who are VERY helpful and friendly) which helped to fill the any voids in my schedule. I have everything! Great food, volunteering, friends, day trips, gym time, space to work on my studies, adventure, I could go on...
I'm really happy to have been involved in this. I plan on doing it as long as I can work from my computer!
