A unique and incredible experience
Fui a Valencia con HP en marzo de 2023. Como viajera solitaria muy experimentada, decidí cambiar un poco las cosas y probar la experiencia de viaje en grupo. Sorprendentemente, casi todos los aspectos del viaje superaron con creces las expectativas:
Alojamiento - Los alojamientos eran modernos, espaciosos y estaban muy bien situados.
Participantes - Temía acabar con un montón de recién graduados universitarios con ganas de fiesta, pero por suerte el grupo estaba formado por profesionales maduros con trayectorias interesantes y curiosidad por Valencia y la cultura española.
Eventos - No creo haber estado nunca tan activa en mi vida. Ping pong, fútbol, pádel, comidas compartidas, juegos de mesa (!), comidas dentro y fuera, aventuras paralelas... siempre había algo divertido o distinto que hacer... o la posibilidad de no hacer nada si quería explorar sola.
Facilitadores - Sary y Juan fueron excepcionales. Además de ser buena gente de verdad, siempre estaban disponibles y con ganas de ayudar. Parecía que eran amigos pasando el rato más que facilitadores haciendo su trabajo.
Hay muchísimo más que podría decir pero... el mejor aval que puedo dar es que pronto haré otro viaje. ¡Incluso he decidido reorganizar todo mi plan de viaje para finales de año para poder unirme a HP!
I went to Valencia with HP in March 2023. As a very seasoned solo traveler, I decided to switch things up a bit and try the group travel experience. Surprisingly, pretty much every aspect of the trip well-exceeded expectations:
Housing - The accommodations were modern, spacious, and very well situated.
Participants - I was fearful that I would end up with a bunch of recent college grads looking to party, but fortunately the group consisted of mature professionals with interesting backgrounds and a curiosity about Valencia and Spanish culture.
Events - I’m not sure I’ve ever been so active in my life. Ping pong, futbol, padel, potlucks, board games (!), meals in / out, side adventures … there was always something fun or different to do … or the ability to do nothing at all if I wanted to explore alone.
Facilitators - Sary and Juan were exceptional. Besides being genuinely good people, they were always available and enthusiastic to help. It felt like they were friends hanging out rather facilitators doing their job.
There is so much more I could say but … the best endorsement I can give is that I’ll be going on another trip soon. I’ve even decided to rearrange my entire travel plan for the end of the year so I could go join HP!
