A unique and incredible experience
I went to Valencia with HP in March 2023. As a very seasoned solo traveler, I decided to switch things up a bit and try the group travel experience. Surprisingly, pretty much every aspect of the trip well-exceeded expectations:
Housing - The accommodations were modern, spacious, and very well situated.
Participants - I was fearful that I would end up with a bunch of recent college grads looking to party, but fortunately the group consisted of mature professionals with interesting backgrounds and a curiosity about Valencia and Spanish culture.
Events - I’m not sure I’ve ever been so active in my life. Ping pong, futbol, padel, potlucks, board games (!), meals in / out, side adventures … there was always something fun or different to do … or the ability to do nothing at all if I wanted to explore alone.
Facilitators - Sary and Juan were exceptional. Besides being genuinely good people, they were always available and enthusiastic to help. It felt like they were friends hanging out rather facilitators doing their job.
There is so much more I could say but … the best endorsement I can give is that I’ll be going on another trip soon. I’ve even decided to rearrange my entire travel plan for the end of the year so I could go join HP!
