Nachdem ich HP ein paar Jahre lang in den sozialen Medien verfolgt, mir die Reisen angesehen und mir gewünscht hatte, es eines Tages ausprobieren zu können, habe ich letztes Jahr meine erste Reise gemacht. Es war das erste Mal, dass ich an einer Arbeits- oder organisierten Gruppensache teilgenommen habe, und ich war aufgeregt (und ein bisschen nervös), neue Leute zu treffen, neue Orte zu erleben und zu versuchen, eine Balance zwischen Produktivität und dem Fernsein von zu Hause zu finden. Ich habe die Erfahrung absolut geliebt, ich habe tolle Leute kennengelernt und die beiden Facilitators auf meinen Reisen (Juan & Cash) sind bis heute meine Freunde, ich vermisse sie!!
Meine Reise begann in Lissabon und es war brillant, den Reiseplan komplett ausgearbeitet zu haben, mit so vielen coolen und interessanten Dingen zu tun & zu sehen. Ich hätte nie so viele reiche und authentische Erfahrungen gemacht, wenn die Planung an mir gelegen hätte! Alle waren wirklich nett und es ist eine richtig tolle Stimmung mit den anderen Mitgliedern der Community, zu der eine breite Palette von Leuten mit unterschiedlichen Interessen und Budgets gehörte – alle von unseren Facilitators meisterhaft wie eine große Familie zusammengebracht. Es hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich meine erste Reise verlängert habe und gleich im Folgemonat bei der nächsten in Split, Kroatien, dabei war. Dieses Jahr hoffe ich, noch eine Reise (oder zwei!) zu machen, und ich empfehle es jedem sehr, der darüber nachdenkt. Vielleicht sehen wir uns bei der nächsten! ✌️✈️

After following HP on social media for a few years, looking at the trips and wishing I could try it someday, last year I went on my first trip. It was my first time taking a working or organised group thing and I was excited (and a little nervous) about meeting new people, experiencing new locations and trying to find some balance with being productive while away from home. I absolutely loved the experience, I met some amazing people and the two facilitators on my trips (Juan & Cash) are my friends to this day, I miss them!!
My trip started in Lisbon and it was brilliant to have the itinerary all mapped out with so many cool and interesting things to do & see. There’s no way I would have had so many rich and authentic experiences if the planning was down to me! Everybody was really nice and it’s a really great vibe with other members of the community, which included a broad range of people with varying interests and budgets - all brought together expertly by our facilitators like one big family. I enjoyed it so much I extended my first trip and went on to join the next one in Split, Croatia the following month. This year I hope to do another trip (or two!) and I highly recommend it to anybody that might be considering it. Might see you on the next one! ✌️✈️
