Coliving Frilingue: Snomad Fest 🇨🇭

I discovered Relais de Dranse through the Nomads Fest. It was an amazing experience. The area is amazing. Home feeling. Perfect for relax, team building activities, groups gatherings. The staff, the food, the facilites are simple yet confortable and super functional. Immersed in beautiful nature. Perfect for hikings, snow lovers (although the time I visited there was no snow we visited and used many nearby sky lifts). You can to scooters mountain rides, three top canopy activities, cheese and local specialties tastings, lakes paddle, enjoy the thermal spas, the sauna in Relais de Dranse, snooker, table football, karaoke, outside tennis/football.
All this experiences combined to meet a bunch of likeminded people, wonderful week.

Frilingue is like a home away from home, and I had an incredible time at the Swiss Nomad Fest. It was a space to challenge my thinking, with a diverse array of content from AI advancements to financial planning, all of which are highly relevant for digital nomads. I loved every minute, including the planned outdoor activities and breath-taking hikes.

The staff were very kind and informative, always ready to lend a hand and answer questions. The village itself is quiet and the perfect setting for those periods of life when you need some tranquillity with plenty of mountain sports options. The prices are quiet affordable too with modest accommodation. Does Switzerland feel too expensive? Not if you come here!

Had a brilliant time this Feb-March at Liddes with the Co-living team. The place is full of good vibes, the plan is super rich and yet flexible, in a way that accommodates everyone's needs. The owners are very attentive and volunteers are awesome. I literally loved every moment, from the company, to the beautiful landscape and skiing, the amazing food, spa time, dancing, and many more memorable moments. Definitely looking forward to be back! There's so much to do in Switzerland, ski time, or summer time. You'll love it!

Philipp and Stefan manage 3 amazing properties in the area and excel at organizing and running FANTASTIC events, as well as creating community which allows for truly transformational experiences (both personal as well as professional). We attended the 1st Swiss Digital Nomad Conference, made so many fantastic connections, learned and shared so much and had the best times of our lives ... in a place which is so breathtaking that 'beautiful' simply doesn't do it justice (no words could - you have to come and see and experience this total gem of an area yourself!). We will absolutely be back again - for some very affordable skiing (CHF90 for a season!) and continue to see Liddes (Relais de Dranse, Auberge des Alpes) as a base for relaxation and activity. We are also looking forward to the 2nd Swiss DN Conference and think this is the best place (and the most amazing coordinators to work with) for any events you may be planning. We had high expectations, given that this is Switzerland. This area, this event and these two amazing gentlemen went far beyond that expectation and created something so life-changing ... for us as well as many other participants in the event. I had a pleasure to participate in the first digital nomad fest in Liddes. The area is beautiful, the food is amazing, big area to work, meet a lot of likeminded people. Definitely coming back

I had a wonderful time here! The house is absolutely beautiful – it feels like a little paradise, surrounded by mountains, wooden cabins, and green meadows. Everything is lush and stunning. I can truly recommend staying here, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Had a great week at the Relais de Dranse with our group of teenagers! The Pass St.-Bernard gives great opportunities for winter outdoor activities and the housing is well set up and allowed us to create a warm and cosy atmosphere. Thanks Stefan for your welcome

Had a brilliant time staying at the Coliving for the Ski Winter Workation. There was a great mix of ski and non-ski related activities on offer to keep everyone entertained at a surprisingly low price. Met some lovely people and hopefully will be back next year!

Misleading Information and Disappointing Experience at Petit Velan/Albergue des Alpes

We booked a week at Petit Velan, but when we got to the train station, they took us to a different place called Albergue des Alpes without telling us why until we asked. They said Petit Velan was empty, but we should have been told about the change sooner.

The Place and Location:

Albergue des Alpes wasn't nice. It looked old and wasn't what we expected.
It's really out of the way. You need a car because there's no supermarket nearby, just a tiny shop. This is different from what their website says.

Working Space:

The co-working space is just a small room with four chairs. It's hard to work there with people talking and having meetings.

False Advertising on Their Website:

Skillsharing Workshops: They said they had these, but they didn't.
Community Cooking: They talk about cooking together, but when we got there, they told us to buy our own food. The kitchen only has four cooking hobs and no dishwasher for a place that can host 22 people.
No Activities: They didn't have any group activities, events, or trips like they said.
Ski Pass: We asked for the ski pass they mention on their site, but we never got it. It's also really hard to get to the ski slopes. It looks us 2h by bus to get to the closer ski station that was open.
No Community Manager: They say there's a community manager, but that's not true.
Getting There: They say it's easy to get there, but it's not. From Geneva, you need to take 3 trains and a bus, and it costs about 50 CHF. You often wait a long time for the next bus.

Price:

It's too expensive for what you get. You can find a one-bedroom flat in the same area for half of the money.
Overall, we were really let down.

I was there for the Digital Nomad festival and it was better than expected, great atmosphere and fantastic superb hospitality by Philipe and Stefan. You can feel their big heart in every corner of their amazing place. Definitely recommend.

As a Volunteer and a backpacker around the world for 2 years now, filming and trying to find the best places to visit and volunteer in.
I will not find such an amazing place to volunteer and also as a guest.
We are talking about Switzerland here, one of the most expensive cities in the world, but for me as a volunteer I stayed for free, free food and not only that, I learned to ski for free as well, after 2 weeks I became a good skier.
I’m not kidding, you can ski for free in Switzerland with Coliving Frilingue.
Not only that, the idea of coliving is amazing and the organizers Stefan and Philip are super cool, and passionate, and they are super generous, they will provide you with ski material, cars to go the ski resorts, you can borrow a car from them if you need to go visit other cities. In the weekend all the volunteers and the guests can go even to Italy or France.
Huge kitchen and a fridge that you can use freely.
There is ping pong table, pool table foosball table, and outside guys amazing huge space and beautiful nature, quiet vibe and mountain views everywhere.

Dopo di contattare il posto ho deciso di venire per un mese, il posto è incredibile, puoi andare a sciare in 4 posti diversi che sono inclusi con il skipass, ho trovato persone meravigliose e un ambiente spettacolare, abbiamo fatto una grigliata sulla neve, e si piove non è un problema perché dentro c'è tutto per divertimento, biliardo, ping-pong, biliardino, pianoforte, e tanti altri cose da fare....

Spending two weeks at the coliving was a bubble for friendship, fun and amazing experiences! The space is cosy, the food was delicious, the evening time in the sauna was rejuvenating and contributing to the experience was a lot of fun.

Stefan and Phillipe are super friendly and supportive and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable throughout the stay.

Lastly, this is a great way to experience amazing skiing in Switzerland for an super affordable price. I'll be back for sure!

The atmosphere is very warm, the people great and entire area around the stay beautiful and stunning!

When I first heard of this place I was so excited to be surrounded by other digital nomads, people also with a keen interest for the outdoors, and skiing all week long. Whether you want to come for a week or three or stay for a few months there are options here for you to live your ski in the alps dreams. We had fondue nights, nights out in Verbier, bbq night, spa night, and the hosts were amazing Stefan and Philipe. They host ski weeks, workcations, and have another coliving house.

It's great what the owners have organised here! This workation is an innovation incubator and hopefully inspires other tourism areas in Switzerland to do something similar. Digital nomads can work on their laptops in the morning and go to the snow in the afternoon, no matter how much experience they have. Those who don't ski or snowboard can simply build an igloo or enjoy the snow on a toboggan. The ski season pass is unbeatably cheap (approx. 80 euros) for a whole season.

I had an absolutely amazing time at this coliving hostel! I didn't know anyone before arriving but it was super easy to make friends with the other lovely guests. Very clean and cosy rooms, lots of space to work during the day or hang out. I stayed during the winter so it was super convenient to be able to rent ski equipment and my ski pass through the hostel too. All round fantastic trip!

Had such an amazing time!! I’m a bit of a clean freak myself and I was surprised to see how clean the staff kept the place even with 20+ people. Definitely coming back again but next time it’s going to be during the summer for some hiking!

I had a great time at coliving! The atmosphere was always welcoming and open, and I met very interesting people from all over the world. The accommodation was really nice in this beautiful place, and it was in a great location for hiking, exploring, and skiing.

I was experiencing a big burnout from my job in France so my psy convinced me to come breathing the fresh air of the mountain. I arrived in this wonderful place 2 days ago and I already feel my sickness disappeared thanks to the magic accent of the managers and the beautiful healthy food they cook for me.
