Description

Head over to Lapa neighborhood, the city's once red light district that is now bustling with samaba and choro bars. While there, stop to sip on Caipirinha, the signature Brazilian cocktail. Put on your hiking shoes to hike Pico de Tijuana, the highest peak in Rio. From there you can enjoy views of the 100-foot Cascatinha Waterfall in Guanbabara bay. When you're looking to relax, spend a lazy day on the white beaches of Copacabana. Or, stay close to home near by Rio's Ipanema Beach.
