We have just rented a beautiful three-bedroom apartment right in the center of Kilifi, Kenya’s main alternative lifestyle hub. The apartment is only minutes away from several ecovillage and permaculture projects and offers a stunning panoramic view over Kilifi Creek.

We plan to set up a few work desks in front of the large panorama window, creating an inspiring coworking setup with a view over the creek. To make this happen, we are looking for two or three fellow digital nomads who would like to share the costs and turn the apartment into a small, focused coworkation space.

My Kenyan wife is an amazing cook, and together we know the area and local culture very well. Based on this, we offer two different living concepts:

1. Cost-sharing and self-organization
   We share rent and household responsibilities and organically organize daily life and free time together. No services are provided. This option is for people who enjoy co-creation, shared responsibility, and an informal community setup.

2. Service-based living
   We take care of grocery shopping, well-prepared meals, and cleaning of the apartment. In addition, we organize optional free-time activities, including visits to inspiring cultural hubs, relaxed lounge and dance venues along the coast, and some of the most beautiful white beaches in the area.
   This is a private offer, not a commercial coliving project. In this case, we live rent-free in exchange for covering these services. Prices are calculated accordingly and do not include any profit margin.

A note on room pricing:
When we refer to “shared room prices,” this does not mean sharing a bedroom. Everyone will have their own private room. The term only refers to the concept of sharing rent and responsibilities without services.

This is a private initiative, as we are leaving our coliving project in Spain behind and creating something smaller, more personal, and intentional in Kilifi.
