The organizers are nice welcoming hosts, who adapted and blended well the proposed activities with our needs. It was a social experience, where the entire group was well connected and we have learnt new things from each other.

Co-living and co-working with Nomads in Wonderlands was amazing for me! I loved how they set the relaxing tone, chill vibe, and no stress about anything

Co-living and co-working with Nomads in Wonderlands was amazing for me! I loved how they set the relaxing tone, chill vibe, and no stress about anything. It was really easy to live and work together, hang out, plan activities or trips, and be spontaneous about schedule.

It was a great idea they organized an event in a local co-working place. We've had an opportunity not only to get to know each other better but also to meet other digital nomads and make even more new connections with like-minded people :)

Nomads in Wonderlands Angkor Wat was my first time at a nomad/co-living event and it was an excellent experience

Nomads in Wonderlands Angkor Wat was my first time at a nomad/co-living event and it was an excellent experience.

Travelling through South East Asia so Cambodia and Angkor Wat was on the agenda, but a chance encounter made me aware of Nomads in Wonderlands and it sounded like a great opportunity—to visit Angkor Wat with others who knew the area well, and make some friends along the way.

Camille and Bauke are incredibly organised, while also being very laid back and approachable, and this really added to things. The plan itself was pretty fluid and we went with the flow a lot of the time which is a lot of fun.

I thought it was a great group size and the itinerary was perfect. I ate in restaurants I would never have gone to solo and joined activities I had never considered (shout out to the pottery makers)!

Like a lot of things in life, the people make it, and I feel blessed to have spent over a week with such a good gang.

Siem Reap itself is a great place—easy to get around and a lot to do, even outside the great history of the temples, so it's a great location for a nomad event such as this.

Now that I've been introduced to the nomad world I look forward to attending more events and meeting the Nomads in Wonderlands again!

Great people, great energy, and a super well-run experience

Great people, great energy, and a super well-run experience. Nothing was set in stone, and that made it even better – we shaped the days together and created something that felt real and personal. I came curious about Cambodia and Angkor, and left with new friendships, lots of laughs, and wonderful memories. I will definitely join another one!

The Angkor Nomads experience came into my life at exactly the right time

The Angkor Nomads experience came into my life at exactly the right time. After losing my husband to cancer in November 2024, I was navigating deep grief and searching for clarity about who I was and what I was meant to do next. With nothing but a suitcase and an open heart, I booked a ticket to Cambodia in January 2025.

Just three days after booking my ticket, I came across a post by Camille Poiré looking for a volunteer social media manager for the Angkor Nomad event in Siem Reap. I applied, interviewed, and was soon part of a 10-day immersive journey that would completely shift my path.

This event wasn’t just a digital nomad gathering, it was a deeply human experience. The co-living aspect added a layer of connection that’s hard to put into words. Sharing everyday moments, meals, laughter, spontaneous conversations, late-night reflections, fostered real bonds that went far beyond surface-level networking.

Camille and Bauke were incredibly hands-on and present throughout the entire event. You could truly feel how much they cared about each person’s experience. There was never a dull moment, from curated workshops and inspiring talks to playful adventures and deep, meaningful conversations, the energy stayed high and the vibes stayed real.

Even now, months later, I’m still in touch with so many of the incredible people I met. The friendships and connections have lasted far beyond the event, and honestly—it’s made me a little addicted to Nomads gatherings! :)

There’s something powerful about being in a space where personal growth, professional alignment, and human connection all come together so naturally.

Angkor Nomads gave me more than just clarity, it gave me a renewed sense of purpose, a supportive community, and a glimpse into the kind of life I want to keep creating.

If you’re seeking more than just a remote work trip, if you’re looking for alignment, adventure, and authentic connection—this is the kind of experience that will stay with you long after it ends. :)
