Un'eccezionale esperienza di coliving e coworking in Normandia

Ho avuto la fortuna di passare del tempo al Château Coliving ed è sinceramente una delle esperienze più stimolanti che abbia mai avuto. Il castello in sé è bellissimo: restaurato con cura, arredato con eleganza e circondato dalla tranquilla campagna normanna. Le camere sono luminose, comode e piene di carattere, con tutto il necessario per sentirsi a casa.

Ma ciò che rende straordinario questo posto è la community. È una vera famiglia di persone gentili, creative e interessanti da tutto il mondo. Abbiamo condiviso cene, tè del pomeriggio, serate di giochi (le serate "Among Us" qui sono leggendarie), sessioni di arte, skill share ed escursioni nella campagna vicina e lungo la costa. Gli host organizzano anche gite fantastiche di un giorno, in posti come Bayeux, Étretat, Mont-Saint-Michel, Granville e Dieppe, che ti fanno innamorare ancora di più della Normandia.

Se cerchi un posto dove concentrarti, creare e sentirti subito il benvenuto, è questo. Château Coliving offre l'ambiente perfetto per produttività, amicizia e ispirazione. Porterò sempre con me nel cuore il tempo passato qui. 💛

An exceptional coliving & coworking experience in Normandy

I’ve been lucky enough to spend time at Château Coliving, and it’s honestly one of the most inspiring experiences I’ve ever had. The château itself is beautiful — thoughtfully restored, elegantly decorated, and surrounded by peaceful Normandy countryside. The rooms are bright, comfortable, and full of character, with everything you need to feel at home.

But what makes this place extraordinary is the community. It’s a genuine family of kind, creative, and interesting people from all over the world. We shared dinners, afternoon teas, game nights (“Among Us” nights here are legendary), art sessions, skill shares, and hikes through the nearby countryside and along the coastline. The hosts also organize amazing day trips — to places like Bayeux, Étretat, Mont-Saint-Michel, Granville, and Dieppe — that make you fall even more in love with Normandy.

If you’re looking for a place where you can focus, create, and feel instantly welcome, this is it. Château Coliving provides the perfect environment for productivity, friendship, and inspiration. I’ll always carry my time here in my heart. 💛

Ho passato un mese a vivere nel castello e che mese magico! Quasi ogni recensione probabilmente dirà questo, e c'è un motivo. Ho conosciuto le persone più incredibili, mangiato cibo delizioso, vissuto come un re e imparato un sacco di storia. Tornerò sicuramente e consiglio vivamente a chiunque stia pensando di soggiornare qui di farlo.

I spent a month living in the chateau, and what a magical month! Almost every review will probably say that, and there's a reason. I met the most amazing people, ate delicious food, lived like a king, and learned a lot of history. I will definitely return, and I highly recommend anybody considering staying here to do it.

Ho passato un mese davvero incredibile al Chateau Coliving ad agosto 2025. Non vedevo l'ora da mesi e me lo ero costruito molto nella mia immaginazione, quindi ero un po' preoccupata che non fosse all'altezza delle aspettative, ma in realtà le ha superate.

Lo château è spazioso ma non enorme: quasi perfetto, abbastanza piccolo da sembrare accogliente e familiare ma abbastanza grande da avere i propri spazi. Una grande preoccupazione era la cucina: con 22 coliver pensavo che sarebbe stata presa d'assalto all'ora dei pasti, ma questo succedeva di rado perché le persone avevano orari molto diversi. E adoravo imbattermi in uno o due amici quando entravo in cucina. Molto semplice e confortevole.

La cosa migliore di questa esperienza è la gestione attenta della community. Il team ha fatto un lavoro fantastico nell'accoglierci e nell'aiutare il nostro gruppo ad affiatarsi in modo autentico e rapido. Alla fine della prima settimana eravamo tutti vicini e connessi, il che è notevole.

Le strutture sono un po' usurate e rustiche, come mi aspettavo, ma vale la pena segnalarlo se ti aspetti un'esperienza da resort a cinque stelle! Questo è un posto casalingo, il che significa mobili vissuti (molti dei quali sono pezzi d'antiquariato pieni di fascino e carattere!) E ADORAVO la mia camera con bagno in condivisione. Mi sembrava super speciale. Nel complesso un'esperienza davvero fantastica; tornerò!

I had a truly incredible month at Chateau Coliving in August 2025. I looked forward to it for months and really built it up in my imagination, so was a little worried it wouldn’t live up to expectations but in fact it exceeded them.

The chateau itself is spacious but not huge - kind of perfect, small enough to feel cozy and familiar but big enough to be able to get space to yourself. One big concern was the kitchen - with 22 colivers I thought it would get slammed at meal times, but this rarely happened because people were on such different schedules. And I loved bumping into one or two friends when I wandered into the kitchen. Very easy and comfortable.

The best thing about this experience is the thoughtful community management. The team did an amazing job at welcoming us and helping our group to gel authentically and quickly. By the end of the first week, we were all close and connected, which is remarkable.

The facilities are a little worn and rustic, which was what I expected, but worth flagging if you’re expecting a five star resort experience! This is a homey place, which means lived-in furniture (many of which are antiques with tons of charm and character!) And I LOVED my room with shared bath. Felt super special. Altogether a really great experience; I’ll be back!

Il miglior co live in cui sia mai stato! Posto fantastico per staccare la spina per un mese. Gli host sono incredibili e il posto ha tutto ciò che serve e di più. Prova, vai a conoscere degli sconosciuti per un mese che diventano famiglia.

Best co live I’ve ever been to! Amazing place to unplug for a month. The hosts are incredible and the place itself has everything you need and more. Take a chance, go meet some strangers for a month that turn into family.

La mia azienda ha passato qui una settimana spettacolare. La mia suite era magnifica, con enormi finestre che si affacciavano su un parco impeccabile e una grande vasca con piedini. Gli spazi di lavoro erano ben attrezzati (place of power, tavoli e monitor a noleggio) e la cucina abbastanza grande da permetterci di cucinare insieme. Abbiamo persino fatto un falò una sera. Un posto fantastico per un retreat di team!

My company enjoyed a spectacular week here. My suite was glorious, with giant windows overlooking immaculate grounds, and a huge clawfoot tub. The work spaces were well equipped -- place of power, tables, and monitors for rent -- and the kitchen large enough for us to cook together. We even had a bonfire one night. A great place for a team retreat!

Una parola: MAGICO! È difficile descrivere quanto siano speciali questo posto e l'incredibile team che lo gestisce, e quanto sia caro al mio cuore il château. Vuoi vivere come un aristocratico in un mozzafiato castello storico su vasti terreni verdi nel cuore della Normandia, dove puoi ogni giorno abbuffarti dei migliori (ma economici!) formaggi e vini? Vuoi un team dedicato e laborioso che si preoccupa davvero per te alla guida del posto, che capisce cosa significa promuovere la comunità ogni giorno? Questo posto ti darà tutto questo e di più. Si occupano di tutto, devi solo presentarti - dalle cene di gruppo settimanali e un'infinità di attività quotidiane, alle gite del weekend alla scoperta di adorabili cittadine medievali e della costa frastagliata, fino a un eccellente coworking in cui riuscivo a fare tutto ciò che mi serviva. Ci sono stata due volte e ci tornerei senza pensarci. Ho conosciuto persone che saranno amici per la vita e ho imparato tanto su me stessa qui. Inoltre, se sei un appassionato di storia, soprattutto della Seconda guerra mondiale, questa proprietà e la zona circostante sono come un tour storico che prende vita! Adoro il château!

One word: MAGICAL! It’s hard to describe how special this place and the incredible team who run it are, and how dear the chateau is in my heart. Want to live like an aristocrat in a breathtaking historical castle on sprawling green grounds in the heart of Normandy, where you can daily stuff yourself with the finest (yet affordable!) cheeses and wine? Want a dedicated, hardworking team who truly cares about you running the place, who understand what it means to foster community on the daily? This place will deliver in spades. They take of everything, you just have to show up—from weekly group dinners and daily activities galore, to weekend outings exploring adorable medieval towns and rugged coastline, to excellent an coworking where I could get everything done that I needed to. I’ve visited twice now and would go back in a heartbeat. I’ve met people who will be lifelong friends and learned so much about myself here. Plus, if you’re a history lover, especially ww2, this property and the surrounding area is like a history tour come to life! I just love the chateau!
