Terrible coworking experience
Terrible coworking experience.
first of all, the house is extremely run down. it's drafty. my shower the first night didn't drain properly (and they knew it when they gave me the room).
internet not consistent, especially in the rooms.
not safe. there are no locks on the doors for any of the rooms by the way - i learned when a random guy "accidentally" walked into my room one night at 2am. when i suggested that the staff add locks, they told me they deliberately removed the locks and i'd have to ask them why. when i never did - because i think any place where you are living with random strangers you should have locks - they thought i was overly hostile and too demanding of a place to stay. your decision whether it's worthwhile to stay in a place with strangers without locks, anon.
also, there are rats. i found out when they took and then returned my gummies with tooth marks in them.
this chateau was the local nazi headquarters for the area in wwii. they left a swastika downstairs that has not been painted over (though there is a painting hung over it).
your decision about what that means, dear reader.
