Participé en el programa de julio de 2018 en Chiang Mai, Tailandia. Es la experiencia perfecta de un mes para quienes quieren trabajar en remoto, tomarse un tiempo libre del trabajo o simplemente viajar y sumergirse en un entorno diferente. Hoy en día muchos grupos y programas de viaje pasan a toda prisa por varios destinos sin dar tiempo suficiente para "conocer" de verdad un lugar. Me gustó mucho que VWI ofrezca alojamiento cómodo, wifi y apoyo local, así no estás solo. También disfruté mucho conociendo a otros participantes y haciendo actividades geniales como visitar templos, aprender a cocinar platos tailandeses y subir a cascadas!! Todavía mantengo el contacto con los amigos que hice en el programa y con los miembros del equipo de VWI. Sin duda recomendaría esta experiencia si buscas un tipo diferente de viaje y de experiencia cultural. ¡Sin duda volveré a participar en otro programa de VWI para mi próxima escapada!

I participated in the July 2018 Chiang Mai, Thailand program. This is the perfect one month experience for people who want to work remotely, take some time off from work or just travel and immerse themselves in a different environment. A lot of travel groups and programs these days rush through multiple locations without allowing enough time to really "know" a place. I really liked how VWI provides comfortable accommodation, wifi and local support, so you won't be alone. I also really enjoyed meeting other participants and doing some awesome activities like visiting temples, learning to cook Thai dishes and climbing up waterfalls!! I still keep in touch with friends I've made from the program as well as the VWI team members. I'd definitely recommend this experience if you're looking for a different type of travel and culture experience. I will definitely participate again in another VWI program for my next getaway!
