Ich will nicht lügen, ich habe mich ursprünglich für Nomad Escape entschieden, weil der Ort super schön aussah und ich vor Jahresende noch einmal die Sonne sehen wollte … Ich sah das Event hauptsächlich als nette Zugabe.

Aber gleich nach dem Kennenlerngespräch mit Michelle war ich viel zu aufgeregt und habe die Tage heruntergezählt. Und es stellte sich heraus, das Warten hat sich gelohnt: Das Retreat _war_ großartig!

Ich war wirklich überrascht von der Echtheit der Verbindungen, die ich geknüpft habe, der Freundlichkeit von allen und den tiefen Gesprächen, die wir alle geführt haben. Außerdem kann ich jetzt Lach-Yoga und sowjetisches Karaoke von meiner Bucket List streichen.

Mein einziges Bedauern ist, dass es so kurz war. Ich habe auf jeden Fall vor, alle in Zukunft wiederzusehen!

I won’t lie, I initially decided to participate in Nomad Escape because the location looked super nice and I wanted to see the sun one last time before the end of the year… I mostly saw the event as a nice bonus.

But right after the discovery call with Michelle, I was way too excited, and was counting down days. And it turns out, the wait was worth it: the retreat _was_ amazing!

I was genuinely surprised by the authenticity of the connections I made, the friendliness of everyone, and the deep conversations we all had. Also, I can now cross off laughter yoga and soviet karaoke from my bucket list.

My only regret is that is was so short. I definitely intend to see everyone again in the future!
