Description

Hi All !
We are excited to announce our new venture for this autumn/winter season! Our B&B Aperanti Agrotourism in Cyprus will host its first co-living experience โค๐Ÿฅณ
We have been happily hosting guests from around the world for over 12 years, sharing our passion for homemade cuisine and local traditions, promoting sustainable eco-tourism, and spreading our love for nature. We grow our own organic fruits, olives, herbs, and select vegetables, which we use in our cooking and to create our own products (olive oil, jams, liqueurs, lemonade, etc.). Additionally, we organize seasonal workshops for our guests, such as halloumi cheese making, cooking lessons, olive harvesting, and foraging for wild herbs. ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿซ’๐Ÿง€
For the first time, we would like to open our doors (and heart!) to long-term travelers and remote workers who wish to embrace our rural lifestyle and way of living, learn from the locals, connect with nature, and build a small community of passionate people.
WHEN: From 17th November 2025 to 1st March 2026. Minimum stay of one month.
LOCATION: Our agrotourism is located in the picturesque village of Pera Orinis in Cyprus, at the foothills of the Machairas Mountains, just half an hourโ€™s drive from Nicosia, the capital. Cyprus generally experiences mild autumns and winters, making it the perfect escape from the cold months in Northern Europe. Although Cyprus is not yet part of the Schengen Area, this may be advantageous for those whose Schengen visas are expiring but still wish to stay in Europe longer.๐ŸŒ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ–โ˜€๏ธ
THE PLACE: Aperanti is a traditional house dating back to 1915, carefully renovated to preserve its historic charm, featuring a wooden-beamed ceiling and natural stone walls and floors.๐Ÿ ๐Ÿก
Aperanti comprises four cozy private rooms of different size, each with an ensuite bathroom, a central courtyard with seating, a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining area, and a reception. Our fields with fruit trees and olive groves are just outside the village.
PRICING:
Single occupancy: โ‚ฌ950โ€“โ‚ฌ1250 per month, depending on the room
Double occupancy: โ‚ฌ1300โ€“โ‚ฌ1550 per month, depending on the room
10% discount for stays longer than one month
WHATโ€™S INCLUDED: Weekly activities (such as cheese making, cooking lessons, olive harvesting, foraging, and mountain trekking), high-speed Wi-Fi, electricity, water, underfloor heating, weekly cleaning of rooms and common areas, linen, and towels.

What an enchanting experience! Looking for something different to do, I booked for myself and my father to do a halloumi workshop. We were greeted so warmly by Sara, Tassos and Marula and were treat like old friends. They truly are salt of the earth people. We were given so much interesting information on the charming local area and the goodies they make here. It was finished by sampling a beautiful selection of those goodies! A fantastic way to spend the morning, this would โ€ฆ See more

We spent 5 days at Aperanti for a cookery and food experience

We spent 5 days at Aperanti for a cookery and food experience. Sara and Tassos couldnโ€™t have done any more to make our stay better. The cookery lessons were great fun, we loved making halloumi. The food we had during our stay was excellent, all local products and beautifully presented. Our room was very comfortable, lovely clean and comfortable beds and nicely furnished in traditional style. Sara and Tassos spent time showing us the local area and adding to our experience by โ€ฆ See more
