AfricaNomads is by far my favourite coliving in Kenya. Since my first call, Alejandra and Steve made me feel so comfortable. I met the team in person during my time in Watamu and I immediately felt the love! Everyone was personally invested in making sure my travels through Kenya were as smooth as possible - even before I joined their program! (Seriously, they literally rescued me when my tuktuk ran out of gas on a very sandy road).

My month in Lamu was no different. AfricaNomads truly cares about the people who join, and they make sure everything is as smooth as possible to give you the best experience. If you get the chance to travel with AfricaNomads, please do! Lamu island is fascinating, people are so welcoming, you will feel part of the community within a week, and the weekend activities are a mix of cultural experiences and nature wonders. I’m certain you will have a one of a kind experience.

Joining the coliving of AfricaNomads has honestly been one of the best experience ever! I also was picked up from the airport in Malindi. The villa they booked was absolutely amazing and had everything we needed.

Moreover, the group of people they bring together absolutely amazing, I still think about the people I met there regularly and keep in contact with them as well because they were all so wonderful.

If you're ever in Kenya and you have the luxury to work remotely DEFINITELY book with them <3

They don’t just go the extra mile—they’re basically Olympic champions of hospitality (barefoot, uphill, probably carrying coconuts) to make sure your time in Kenya is unforgettable.

One of the best experiences! I wish many people could experience it! I spent a month and a week with AfricaNomads, first in Lamu and then in Watamu. Besides staying in wonderful and very comfortable houses with internet and batteries to always stay connected and work peacefully, the weekend activities are very well thought out, exclusive, different, and authentic, since they have been living in Kenya for many years and that makes the difference. When people truly live and love the place. Everything is enhanced by Alejandra and Steve, who are 100% attentive to every detail of your stay and help with everything you need. A pleasure and also a reassurance. Pepe and Ana always ensure everyone is happy and has the best conditions to work. This is very important because you come to Africa and don’t know how things will work. Everything works perfectly and more! I will certainly repeat the experience because I'm leaving so happy, with friends and a family on this continent. A billion thanks for all the moments! Asante sana!
