I’ve been grinding on notion for a couple of months now—using it for task planning, brain-dumping ideas, and keeping personal projects in check. the customization is straight-up fire: you can whip up pages with to-do lists, tables, drop in files, and switching between board, calendar, or list views is clutch when you need different vibes for different tasks. the ui is clean and aesthetic, makes it nice to dive into.but, man, the pain points hit hard. the mobile app is a laggy mess—pages take forever to load, and sync with desktop fails way too often, especially when i’m out and need to check something quick. total vibe-killer. and sharing pages with external users? it’s a ux nightmare. the permissions setup is so clunky, it feels like a puzzle from the ‘90s. i’ve given up explaining it and just started screenshotting instead. not cool.bottom line, notion’s a beast of a tool, and i’m still glued to it daily, but the quirks drive me nuts. if they polished the ux and made the mobile app as smooth as the desktop, it’d be damn near perfect.
