Awake Siargao
I had a great week with the team of Awake Siargao in February and am really looking forward to going back! 🥰🙏🏻 However I hadn’t understood from se websitw that the private rooms are not in the place that is pinned on Google maps (close to Cloud9), but instead on the other side of General Luna in a boutique hostel called Bajala so I was quite upset finding that out once I got there after 24 hours of traveling

Luckily my host(ess) Castel made me feel understood and took care of me even while I was grumpy. 🫣😂 Castel and Rem are both such amazing people, you really can feel the Philipino hospitality and kindness radiating from them (they even hooked me up with my personal tuktuk because I don’t drive a scooter 🫰🏻). My surf instructor JR was great as well, pushing me to try different boards and also understanding my limits. 🙏🏻
All in all I can definitely recommend Awake if you want to have a carefree surf experience on the island! ❤️🤙🏻
