Passei um mês em Bali com a Unsettled, onde conheci 29 pessoas incríveis de todas as origens, e encontrei um pedacinho de mim em cada uma delas. Essas pessoas eram inteligentes, espirituosas, muito espertas, lindas, aventureiras, hilárias e cheias de alegria. Éramos uma ótima mistura de trabalhadores em tempo integral, ilustradores freelancers, escritores criativos e analistas de dados e realmente gostamos de que nem todos estivessem sempre no modo 'trabalho trabalho' ou 'diversão diversão' durante nosso mês. Todos tínhamos a escolha de ser seletivos e encontrar espaço para esse equilíbrio/desequilíbrio na nossa própria experiência. A Unsettled oferece um espaço flexível e uma ótima infraestrutura em que você é responsável pela sua decisão de participar de uma atividade em grupo ou cumprir um prazo de trabalho. Além dos almoços em grupo, jantares em família e aventuras, este mês me permitiu compartilhar minha história com o grupo e fazer parte das histórias dos outros. Sou muito grata por ter tido as conversas e as sessões de brainstorm com todos os meus colegas Unsettlers. Recomendo muito este programa para qualquer pessoa que se encontre em uma fase de transição da vida estranha (mas maravilhosa). Você vai sair com as melhores memórias, o coração cheio e uma tonelada de inspiração.

I spent a month in Bali with Unsettled where I met 29 incredible people from all walks of life, and found a little part of me in all of them. These people were intelligent, witty, bloody smart, beautiful, adventurous, hilarious, and full of joy. We were a great mix of full-time workers, freelance illustrators, creative writers and data analysts and we actually really enjoyed that not all of us were always in that 'work work' or 'play play' mode during our month. We all had a choice to be selective and find space for that balance/imbalance in our own experience. Unsettled offers a flexible space and a great infrastructure where you're responsible for your decision to attend a group activity vs. meeting a deadline for work. Aside from the group lunches, family dinners and adventures, this month allowed me to share my story with the group and let me be part of others’ stories. I'm so grateful to have had the conversations and the brainstorm idea sessions with all my fellow Unsettlers. Definitely recommend this program to anyone who finds themselves in a strange (but wonderful) transition phase of life. You'll walk out with the best memories, a full heart and a ton of inspiration.
