Ho passato un mese a Bali con Unsettled dove ho conosciuto 29 persone incredibili di ogni estrazione, e ho trovato un pezzetto di me in tutte loro. Queste persone erano intelligenti, spiritose, sveglissime, bellissime, avventurose, esilaranti e piene di gioia. Eravamo un gran mix di lavoratori a tempo pieno, illustratori freelance, scrittori creativi e analisti di dati e in realtà abbiamo apprezzato molto il fatto che non fossimo tutti sempre in modalità 'solo lavoro' o 'solo svago' durante il nostro mese. Tutti potevamo scegliere in modo selettivo e trovare spazio per quell'equilibrio/squilibrio nella nostra esperienza. Unsettled offre uno spazio flessibile e un'ottima infrastruttura in cui sei responsabile della tua decisione di partecipare a un'attività di gruppo oppure rispettare una scadenza di lavoro. Oltre ai pranzi di gruppo, alle cene in famiglia e alle avventure, questo mese mi ha permesso di condividere la mia storia con il gruppo e di far parte delle storie degli altri. Sono così grata per le conversazioni e le sessioni di brainstorming con tutti i miei compagni Unsettlers. Consiglio assolutamente questo programma a chiunque si trovi in una strana (ma meravigliosa) fase di transizione della vita. Ne uscirai con i migliori ricordi, il cuore pieno e una montagna di ispirazione.

I spent a month in Bali with Unsettled where I met 29 incredible people from all walks of life, and found a little part of me in all of them. These people were intelligent, witty, bloody smart, beautiful, adventurous, hilarious, and full of joy. We were a great mix of full-time workers, freelance illustrators, creative writers and data analysts and we actually really enjoyed that not all of us were always in that 'work work' or 'play play' mode during our month. We all had a choice to be selective and find space for that balance/imbalance in our own experience. Unsettled offers a flexible space and a great infrastructure where you're responsible for your decision to attend a group activity vs. meeting a deadline for work. Aside from the group lunches, family dinners and adventures, this month allowed me to share my story with the group and let me be part of others’ stories. I'm so grateful to have had the conversations and the brainstorm idea sessions with all my fellow Unsettlers. Definitely recommend this program to anyone who finds themselves in a strange (but wonderful) transition phase of life. You'll walk out with the best memories, a full heart and a ton of inspiration.
