Un’esperienza assolutamente fantastica! Non vedo l’ora di tornarci!

An absolutely amazing experience! I can’t wait to go back again!

Ho avuto la fortuna di vivere sia il progetto in Costa Rica sia quello in Thailandia e ho solo cose bellissime da dire su entrambi. Venture Within ti permette di vivere il paese e le sue culture in modi che essere un turista non ti permette. Durante il progetto ti immergi davvero nella cultura e ne esci con un nuovo rispetto per gli altri. Ancora oggi, a due anni dai progetti, sono in contatto con i membri dei miei gruppi. Lavorare insieme a persone che la pensano come te è così divertente ed è un ottimo allenamento per il futuro.

Era la mia prima volta che viaggiavo fuori dal mio paese quando mi sono unita a Venture Within. Far parte del gruppo e avere trasporto, alloggio, attività e cibo già sistemati per me è stato un enorme sollievo.

Consiglio vivamente tutti i progetti di Venture Within. Ne uscirai avendo imparato tantissimo, non solo sul paese e sulla cultura, ma su te stesso.

I was fortunate enough to experience both the Costa Rica and Thailand projects and have only great things to say about them. Venture Within allows you to experience the country and its cultures in ways that being a tourist can't get you. During the project you truly immerse yourself in the culture and come out with a new found respect of others. I still to this day keep in touch with the member of my groups two years after the projects. Working together with like minded individuals is so much fun and is great practice for the future.

It was my first time traveling outside my country when I joined Venture Within. Being apart of the group and having transportation, accommodation, activities, and food taken care of for me was such a great relief.

I highly recommend all Venture Within projects. You will come out learning so much, not only about the country and culture, but about yourself.

Ho avuto la fortuna di partecipare al programma Thailandia di giugno 2018. Dire che è stato un viaggio che ti cambia la vita sarebbe riduttivo. È stata un'esperienza così unica di totale immersione culturale, che mi ha aperto gli occhi in tanti modi! Attraverso la parte di leadership del programma ho imparato strumenti che mi aiuteranno sia a livello personale sia professionale. Vivere più città della Thailandia e vedere le somiglianze e le differenze di ciascuna è stato fantastico! Alcuni dei miei momenti preferiti includono le passeggiate lungo il fiume con gli elefanti a Surin, il Monk Chat a Chiang Mai e il nostro giorno libero, passato a fare rafting sulle rapide nella giungla! Queste due settimane sono state le migliori della mia vita e ora sto pianificando di partecipare al programma Costa Rica il prossimo anno. Se stai pensando di partecipare a un programma Venture Within, FALLO! Non te ne pentirai!

I was lucky enough to be a participant for the June 2018 Thailand program. To say that it was a life-changing trip would be an understatement. It was such a unique experience of complete cultural immersion, which opened my eyes in so many ways! Through the leadership portion of the program, I learned tools that will help me both personally and professionally. Experiencing multiple cities of Thailand and seeing the similarities and differences of each was awesome! Some of my favorite highlights include river walks with the elephants in Surin, the Monk Chat in Chiang Mai, and our free day, which was spent white water rafting through the jungle! These two weeks were the best of my life, and I'm now planning to participate in the Costa Rica program next year. If you're considering participating in a Venture Within program, DO IT! You won't regret it!

La mia esperienza con Venture-within è stata tutto ciò di cui avevo bisogno e molto di più. Le persone con cui sono stata abbinata a caso sono diventate alcune delle mie migliori amiche per la vita! Senza contare che i nostri group leader erano due delle persone più fighe che abbia mai conosciuto! Christy e Liz ci hanno tenuti in un ambiente sicuro per tutto il tempo, non ero preoccupata nemmeno un po' per la mia sicurezza durante l'intero viaggio in Costa Rica. Mi hanno anche aiutata con i miei obiettivi futuri con consigli eccezionali per arrivare esattamente dove voglio essere nel mio percorso. I workshop di leadership mi hanno davvero aiutata a fermarmi e riflettere durante il nostro periodo, cosa difficile da fare quando sei immersa in un'altra cultura. I workshop erano ottimi per sedersi e mettere in ordine i tanti pensieri e sentimenti e anche per vedere la tua esperienza attraverso gli occhi dei compagni di gruppo! Mi hanno davvero aiutata a uscire dal mio guscio e vedere lo stesso mondo da prospettive diverse è stata la mia parte preferita dei workshop. L'aspetto culturale del viaggio è stato così gratificante. Ci siamo tuffati in un'altra parte del mondo e in un'altra lingua per aiutare e imparare il più possibile, ed è esattamente quello che abbiamo fatto! Ho imparato molto più della lingua lì di quanto avrei mai potuto leggendo un libro! Liz ci ha dato mini lezioni di lingua che abbiamo messo alla prova nella vita reale, e c'è un modo migliore per imparare la lingua di questo? Inoltre poter offrire una mano in un posto che ne ha più bisogno era proprio quello che cercavo. Aiutare gli altri mi ha aiutata a ritrovare me stessa alla fine.

My experience with Venture-within was everything I needed and so much more. The people I was randomly paired up with ended up being some of my very best lifelong friends! Not to mention our group leaders were two of the coolest people I've ever met! Christy and Liz kept us in a safe environment the entire time, wasn't worried one bit about my safety on the entirety of the trip to Costa Rica. They also have helped me out in my future goals as well with outstanding recommendations to help me get to exactly where I want to be on my path. The leadership workshops really helped me to pause and reflect during our time, which is hard to do when you're submerged in another culture. The workshops were great to sit down and sort through the many thoughts and feelings and to also see your experience through your group mates eyes as well! They really helped me to come out of my shell and seeing the same world from different perspectives had to be my favorite part of the workshops. The cultural aspect of the trip was so rewarding. We dove into another part of the world and language to help out and learn as much as we could, and that's exactly what we did! I learned so much more of the language there than I ever could reading a book! Liz gave us mini lessons of the language that we tried out in real life, and what's a better way to learn the language than that? Also being able to provide helping hands in a place that needs it the most was just what I was looking for. Helping other people helped me to find myself in the end.

I 100% recommend Venture-within with all of my heart!
