Prima di andare a Siargao e partecipare al retreat con Awake Retreat, la mia esperienza di surf era molto basica: riuscivo a prendere solo onde bianche, non quelle verdi. Quello era il mio obiettivo principale quando sono arrivato.
Direi che fin dal primo giorno Rem è stata incredibilmente professionale e impegnata a rendere indimenticabile il mio soggiorno. L'ostello era pulito e tranquillo, il ristorante eccellente e i prezzi molto accessibili.
Reden, che è stato il mio coach per 7 giorni, è stato il migliore: profondo conoscitore dell'oceano e delle condizioni, cordiale, allegro e pieno di energia, il che ha fatto sembrare le mie giornate la perfetta vacanza/allenamento di surf e ho raggiunto il mio obiettivo di prendere onde verdi, il che mi ha lasciato super soddisfatto 😀

Consiglio vivamente questo retreat: è di gran lunga una delle cose migliori che ho fatto in tutti i miei anni di viaggi. Senza dubbio tornerò molto presto.

Before going to Siargao and joining the retreat with Awake Retreat, my surfing experience was very basic — I could only catch whitewater waves, not green ones. That was my main goal when I arrived.
I would say that from day one, Rem was incredibly professional and committed to making my stay unforgettable. The hostel was clean and quiet, the restaurant was excellent, and the prices were very affordable.
Reden, who was my coach for 7 days, was the best — deeply knowledgeable about the ocean and conditions, friendly, cheerful, and full of energy, which made my days feel like the perfect surf vacation/training and I achieved my goal of catching green waves, which left me super satisfied 😀

I highly recommend this retreat — it’s by far one of the best things I’ve done in all my years of traveling. Without a doubt, I’ll be coming back very soon.
