Just got back from a month in San Miguel de Allende
Acabo de volver de un mes en San Miguel de Allende. Tuve una experiencia fabulosa como voluntaria en una guardería/preescolar para niños de familias con bajos ingresos. VWI me proporcionó un alojamiento precioso cerca del centro de la ciudad y me dio todo el apoyo que necesitaba... desde organizar excursiones y tours, hasta encontrar a un profesor para unas clases de español, y simplemente ayudarme a orientarme.
Se lo recomiendo MUCHÍSIMO a cualquiera que lo esté considerando... y espero con ganas mi próxima oportunidad de viajar con ellos (¿quizá Portugal o Tailandia la próxima vez?).
Just got back from a month in San Miguel de Allende. I had a fabulous experience volunteering at a daycare/preschool for children from low income families. VWI provided me with beautiful accommodations near the city center and gave me all the support I needed...from putting together day trips and tours, finding a teacher for a few Spanish lessons, and just helping me find my way around.
I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone considering it...and I look forward to my next opportunity to take a trip with them (maybe Portugal or Thailand next time?).
