Wanderist Life: Prag, Tschechien 💒🇨🇿

Ich hatte das große Glück, letztes Jahr mit einer tollen Gruppe von Männern und Frauen zu reisen, und ich würde es um nichts in der Welt eintauschen (Wortspiel beabsichtigt). Diese Plattform hat mir die Möglichkeit gegeben, Freunde und Familie fürs Leben zu finden und gleichzeitig meine Träume zu verfolgen und aus meiner Komfortzone herauszutreten. Dank Wanderist Life musste ich mich nicht um den lästigen Kram kümmern, der das Reisen abschreckend machen kann (wie Flüge, Unterkunft, Internet). Deshalb konnte ich meine Zeit und Energie auf das konzentrieren, was mir wirklich wichtig war, und das perfekte Auslandserlebnis haben. Wenn du es ausprobierst, mach dich darauf gefasst, dein "Dope"-Level zu steigern... daran und an den Leuten, die dabei sind, ist nichts gewöhnlich.

I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel with an amazing group of men and women this past year and I wouldn't change it for the world (pun intended). This platform provided me with the opportunity to make friends and family that will last me a lifetime, while also pursuing my dreams and stepping out of my comfort zone. Thanks to Wanderist Life, I didn't have to focus on the tedious stuff that can make traveling daunting (like flights, lodging, internet). Because of this, I was able to focus my time and energy on the things that really mattered to me and have the perfect overseas experience. If you're going to try it out, prepare to upgrade your "dope" level...there's nothing ordinary about this or the people involved.

Ich habe meine Gesamterfahrung geliebt. Ich kann das jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der noch zögert, ins Ausland zu ziehen. Ich habe den Sprung gewagt und es hat völlig verändert, was ich mir für meine Zukunft wünsche. Ich habe so viele tolle Menschen kennengelernt – sowohl in meinem Programm als auch Einheimische. Und ich habe Erfahrungen gemacht, die ein Leben lang bleiben. Ich weiß jetzt, dass Leben im Ausland machbar ist, und dieses Programm hat dazu beigetragen, es möglich zu machen. Mein Jahr des Reisens im Ausland ist gerade zu Ende gegangen, aber ich denke schon darüber nach, Immobilien im Ausland zu besitzen. Nochmal: Wenn du zögerst, spring einfach. Du wirst es nicht bereuen.

Loved my overall experience. I would highly recommend this for anyone who is on the fence about moving overseas. I took the leap and it has completely transformed what I want my future to be. I met so many amazing people -- both in my program and locals. And, I had experiences that will last a lifetime. I now know that living abroad is doable and this program helped make it possible. My year of travel abroad just ended but I'm already thinking about owning property overseas. Again, if you're on the fence, just take the plunge. You won't regret it.

Die Teilnahme an My Wander Year vom 29. Juli 2016 bis 31. Juli 2017 war eine der besten Entscheidungen meines Lebens. Die Vorbereitung auf die Reise gab mir die Motivation, die ich brauchte, um mein Leben zu verschlanken, auszumisten und mich auf Ziele zu konzentrieren, die mir wichtig sind. Ein ganzes Jahr ohne den Stress, Rechnungen zu bezahlen (sie haben sich um Miete, Gas, Strom, Internet, Handy, Urlaube usw. gekümmert. Ich musste nur selbst für mein Essen sorgen, lol), gab mir Zeit, mich auf meine Gesundheit und meine Zukunftspläne zu konzentrieren. Ich habe 32 Pfund abgenommen und bin aus meinem früheren Leben im Hamsterrad „losgekommen“. Ich werde dem Unternehmen ewig dankbar sein, dass es mich in Bewegung gebracht hat, und der Gruppe von Wanderists, die das ganze Jahr mit mir gereist sind. Das ist eine Erfahrung, die ich allein nie gemacht hätte und die ich bei Weitem nicht so genossen hätte, wenn ich die ganze Logistik selbst hätte planen müssen. Ich empfehle sowohl die 1-Monats- als auch die Ganzjahres-Erfahrungen sehr.

P.S. Meine Wohnung in Medellín war etwas, wovon ich nur geträumt hatte! Ich hatte einen Sicherheitsmann/Portier, Blick aus dem 16. Stock, Pool, Fitnessstudio, Dampfsauna, Spielzimmer, Spielplatz ... es war unglaublich. Ich habe geweint, als es Zeit war auszuziehen, lol. Meine Wohnungen in Kapstadt und Prag waren auch fantastisch.

Participating in My Wander Year from July 29, 2016-July 31, 2017 was one of the best decisions of my life. Preparing for the trip gave me the motivation I needed to streamline my life, declutter, and focus on goals that are important to me. Having a full year without the stress of paying bills (they took care of rent, gas, electric, internet, mobile phone, vacations, etc. All I had to do was feed myself, lol) gave me time to focus on my health and plans for the future. I lost 32 pounds and got "unstuck" from my previous life running on the hampster wheel. I'll be eternally grateful to the company for getting me moving and the group of Wanderists who travelled with me all year. The experience is something I never would have done on my own nor enjoyed nearly as much if I had to plan all of the logistics myself. I highly recommend both 1 month and full year experiences.

P.S. My apartment in Medellin was something I'd only dreamt about! I had a security guard/doorman, views from the 16th floor, pool, gym, steam room, game room, playground ... it was amazing. I cried when it was time to move, lol. My Cape Town and Prage apartments were also fantastic.

Ich bin ein Jahr lang mit dieser Gruppe gereist und es war eine der besten Erfahrungen meines Lebens. Das Beste ist die Community der Menschen, mit denen man reist. Wenn du darüber nachdenkst, sage ich: Wag den Sprung und schau dir die monatlichen Erlebnisse an.
