Based in Chongqing, this month-long retreat blends focused remote work with shared experiences that make daily life in China feel accessible and human. On weekdays, we’ll co-work during the day and come together in the evenings for activities such as survival Chinese lessons, local sports like ping-pong or badminton, karaoke nights, craft workshops, neighborhood walks, and Chongqing-specific city explorations. Weekends are reserved for curated excursions into the surrounding region, including ancient towns, natural landscapes, cultural landmarks, hot springs, and scenic river areas—some included, with optional add-ons for longer or ticketed destinations. Throughout the retreat, shared meals, routines, and unstructured time are just as important as planned activities, creating a lived-in rhythm that supports both productivity and genuine connection within a small, intentional community.
