J’aimerais pouvoir donner 4,5 étoiles. Ma copine et moi avons fait le chapter de janvier à Marrakech, au Maroc, et nous nous sommes vraiment bien amusés. La communauté de gens a clairement été le point fort, tout le monde était super sympathique, accueillant, et nous avons passé un moment génial à découvrir un nouveau pays ensemble.

Les événements et sorties communs étaient toujours un bon moment. Avec le groupe, nous avons exploré le désert, les marchés locaux, et découvert tant de ce que ce formidable pays a à offrir.

L’espace de coworking convenait très bien à nos besoins, propre, calme, avec du super café & des snacks. Il n’était qu’à 5 minutes à pied de notre appartement, ce qui était très pratique.

Notre appartement était confortable, spacieux et avait tout l’essentiel, sauf quelques trucs bizarres comme des torchons, mais les animateurs s’en sont occupés. Le seul bémol de l’hébergement, qui échappait au contrôle des animateurs, c’est que le gérant de l’appartement s’est révélé extrêmement impoli et a causé des problèmes à quelques personnes tout à la fin. On nous a assuré que l’entreprise n’utiliserait plus cet hébergement, mais j’aurais aimé que la clôture du voyage soit gérée un peu plus en douceur.

Les animateurs du voyage étaient super, des gens super gentils qui ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour aussi confortable que possible.

Globalement, je recommanderais certainement Hacker Paradise à un ami ou à toute personne curieuse de vivre à l’étranger ou d’essayer un mode de vie nomade. C’est une excellente façon de découvrir un pays avec une sécurité intégrée et un groupe de gens qui pensent comme vous pour explorer. C’est agréable d’avoir tout organisé pour soi et une communauté instantanée dans un nouvel endroit !

I wish I could give 4.5 stars. My girlfriend and I did the January chapter to Marrakech in Morocco and really enjoyed ourselves. The community of people was definitely the highlight, everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and we had a blast experiencing a new country together.

The communal events and outings were always a good time. With the group, we explored the desert, local markets, and discovered so much of what this awesome country has to offer.

The co-working space was great for our needs, clean, quiet, and had great coffee & snacks. It was only a 5-minute walk from our apartment which was very convenient.

Our apartment was comfortable, spacious and had all the basics minus a few odd things like dish towels but the facilitators handled that. The only downside of the accommodation which was outside of the facilitator's control was the apartment manager turned out to be extremely rude and caused problems for a few people right at the end. We've been assured the company won't use that accommodation again but I wish the closeout of the trip had been handled a little more smoothly.

The facilitators on trip were great, super nice people who did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Hacker Paradise to a friend or anyone curious about living abroad or trying out a nomadic lifestyle. It's a great way to get an introduction to a country with a built-in safety and group of like-minded people to explore with. It's nice to have everything set up for you and an instant community in a new place!
