J’ai passé un moment si formidable et je suis déjà en manque !! Au final, nous n’étions que ma sœur et moi pendant notre retraite officielle, mais Rem nous a fait nous sentir si bienvenues tout de suite avec sa chaleur et son énergie rayonnante ! Tellement de fun dès le premier jour ! J’ai apprécié le déroulé de la semaine à l’arrivée et les options pour l’adapter comme on le souhaitait. J’ai aimé la structure/le plan de la retraite et le fait qu’elle restait quand même assez flexible. J’ai adoré avoir accès à la salle de sport et à tous les cours, qui étaient aussi super. Les bains de glace et le massage étaient super aussi !

J’ai vraiment apprécié que Rem nous permette de continuer les cours de surf avec l’équipe suivante au-delà de notre retraite officielle. J’ai adoré rencontrer et surfer avec les 3 nouveaux participants de la retraite !

Sur les deux semaines où j’ai surfé avec Awake, j’ai eu deux instructeurs de surf différents, Estong et Jack. J’ai vraiment apprécié mes cours avec les deux instructeurs, bien que chacun ait des approches très différentes. J’ai apprécié d’apprendre des deux ! Les vidéos de drone d’Edward étaient décisives et l’analyse de surf a été très utile pour progresser tout au long de nos sessions.

Je suis si reconnaissante pour cette retraite, pas seulement pour les super cours de surf et pour avoir rencontré des gens formidables, mais tout le temps passé dans l’eau m’a aidée à surmonter ma peur de l’océan et même à m’entraîner à nager !

L’hôtel Muni Muni était super, j’ai adoré l’emplacement, les petits-déjeuners quotidiens et le personnel !

Globalement, je me suis sentie vraiment prise en charge et soutenue pendant tout notre séjour ! Cette expérience m’a laissé une impression durable, avec tant de souvenirs amusants et de liens précieux 🫶🏽 Je sauterais sur l’occasion de faire une autre retraite avec Rem et Awake Siargao à l’avenir ! I had such an amazing time and I’m already having withdrawals!! It ended up just being my sister and I during our official retreat, but Rem made us feel so welcome right away with her warmth and radiating energy! So much fun from day one! I appreciated the breakdown of the week upon arrival and the options to tailor it as we see fit. I liked the structure/outline of the retreat and how it was still pretty flexible. Loved how we had access to the gym and all the classes which were also great. The ice baths and massage were great also!

I really appreciated that Rem allowed us to continue the surf lessons with the next crew beyond our official retreat. Loved getting to meet and surf with the 3 new retreat attendees!

Across the two weeks I surfed with Awake, I had two different surf instructors, Estong and Jack. I really valued my lessons with both instructors, although each had very different approaches. I appreciated learning from both of them! The drone videos from Edward were clutch and the surf analysis was so helpful in progressing throughout our sessions.

I am so grateful for this retreat, not only the awesome surf lessons and getting to connect with amazing folks, but all the time in the water has been helping me work on getting over my fear of the ocean and even practice swimming!

The hotel Muni Muni was great, loved the location, the daily breakfasts and the staff!

All in all I felt really taken care of and supported throughout our entire stay! This experience left such a lasting impression on me, with so many fun memories and meaningful connections 🫶🏽 I would jump at the chance to do another retreat with Rem and Awake Siargao in the future! Salamat Karajaw ✨
